Because it generates various forms, it is called "Mother." Because it distinguishes between conventional truth and ultimate truth, it is "Sister." Among those called "Milking Mother," etc., because it causes all sentient beings to become attached with unsurpassed bliss, it is "of the Milking Mother." Because it completely fills with the unsurpassed qualities of the Buddha, it is "Daughter." Because beings of initial action cannot remain stable, it is "Dancer." Because it is not the object of the senses, it should be expressed with the term "Young Girl." If everything is included within the Completion Stage, then are the recitations, meditations, mudras, mandalas, etc., that are spoken of, all non-existent? Or are they existent? The answer is: because it shows them to be existent to those beginners who are to be tamed, therefore those should all be taken up. Therefore, from the nature of non-elaboration, "Mantras and deities truly abide." Thus it is said. If that is the case, how should recitation and meditation, etc., be done in the aspect of the Completion Stage? Therefore, it is said, "Speech is recitation, truly spoken." etc. Speech refers to actual realization and truly taking hold. What is it? It is called "Āli," which is to ascertain realization of the breath in the left and right nostrils. That should also be ascertained from the guru's oral instructions. Recitation is expressed from that itself with the term "Vajra Recitation." Among those called "Mandala is," etc., "Mandala" is the essence, which is the wisdom of great bliss. That which takes hold of it is "circle," therefore it is called "Mandala." What is that? It is said to be "footprints," which is the tight contraction of the big toes of the feet. Therefore it is said, "Saying the mandala for oneself," which means that by the nature of one's own and holding speech, one holds great bliss, therefore it is called mandala. This instruction is a means of holding the aspect of great bliss. What is called "turning the hands" is when the two thumbs press down on the two ring fingers, that is turning the hands. That itself becomes a mudra.

Oh! The finger itself is just like that. The meaning of "The finger itself is just like that" is that here the sound of "finger" refers to the lingam and the tongue. Rubbing them together means to unite upwards. Regarding "that which is thought of," etc., "that" refers to everything thought of in the Suchness chapter, which is to meditate on the nature of no-birth. Therefore, for what reason does it become the supreme essence, that should be thoroughly contemplated. The nature of clear light itself is what should be thoroughly contemplated, therefore, that itself is what should be contemplated. The father is Vajradhara, the seventh of the third meaning, one should generate the bliss that Vajradhara has attained. "By oneself" means to engage closely without relying on external mudra. Regarding "that is meditation," etc., the meditation of clear light that is spoken of there, there is neither meditator, nor object of meditation, nor meditation. If all three are not present, then how should one meditate? It is said, "By what bliss does one die here." Death is liberation. There, the mind and mental factors, and the nature of ignorance all cease, that is called death. "By what bliss" refers to the nature of the complete exhaustion of all afflictions and near afflictions, which is called great bliss. The fifth chapter of the Vajra Delight Difficult Explanation, Garland of Jewels of Yoga, is a commentary on the Suchness chapter. Sixth, Commentary on the Conduct Chapter. Now, although a yogi is always delighted in meditation, in order to show that without conduct one cannot quickly attain enlightenment, it is said, "From then on, I will explain further." The teachings of the guru and the Buddha, and the suffering of asceticism, are conduct, which is to be explained. "Gone to the other shore" means completely transcending the world. Supreme means being the chief, by what will one realize and fully understand. "By what" means by what. If one is to fully understand what? It is "the definite tenet." "The cause of accomplishment" means for the sake of accomplishment, whether or not accomplishment will occur in this very life, obtaining the sign.
