That which is called "Joy" arises from all pleasures, and it should be regarded as arising from the cause of the dissolution of all joys, as before. The saying "Joy, pleasure, a little pleasure" means that joy is a little pleasure. Because compared to supreme joy, pleasure is small. Therefore, it is said, "Surpassing supreme joy." The term "surpassing" means becoming more excellent, therefore, surpassing joy means surpassing it. The saying "Detachment from joy, joy, detachment from attachment itself" means that "detachment" is the separation from objects such as form by the senses such as the eye in due order, that is, not clinging to them. It means that relying solely on the consciousness of the mind, abiding in the nature of the object of pleasure and the object of the consciousness of the mind itself is detachment. That is, joy and pleasure, and the consciousness of grasping and separation, from the nature of conventional truth, are not attached to the object of desire, and separation is also it, and non-attachment is also it, so it is detachment from attachment, that is, separation from attachment to objects such as form. Detachment from attachment itself is detachment from joy, which means abiding in the pride of thinking oneself to be a little pleasure. The saying "Remainder, coemergent joy itself" means that "remainder" refers to the fifth hidden one, which is the remainder of detachment from joy. Therefore, obtaining the remainder of the assembly is coemergent joy, so becoming the remainder of the assembly of detachment from joy is coemergent joy, which is obtained from the assembly of the jewel mandala. The term "remainder" can also be applied to supreme joy and detachment from joy. The word "ni" also indicates a special meaning. The remainder of the dissolution that arises solely from absorption is joy, which is obtained from the assembly of the vajra root. Becoming the remainder of the assembly of joy is supreme joy, which is obtained from the assembly of the vajra mandala. Becoming the remainder of the assembly of supreme joy is detachment from joy, which is obtained from the root assembly of the vajra jewel. Some people desire this, that merely by counting, recognizing the remainder of coemergent joy itself, is to make the fall of bodhicitta itself into detachment from joy, and then to make coemergent joy into joy.

It will be taken away by joy in advance. That is not true, because what is to be proven has already been established. Because co-emergent is proven through conditions. That is either directly or indirectly. If it is said that it is known through joy and supreme joy, then what is the use of following dispassion? Dispassion is what is to be proven, not what proves it. If it is said that the mind of enlightenment is suffering from falling, then how is it said to be joy? It is becoming self-nature. First is wanting to touch, which is a seven-letter word. Touching refers to touching those objects. Wanting refers to when one wants to touch, which is the first joy. Second is wanting happiness, which refers to merely wanting happiness, which is the meaning of supreme joy. Third is the destruction of desire, which refers to not being attached to the happiness of attachment. Here, because there is no desire, dispassion is without attachment. Therefore, the third dispassion is not clinging to objects, but clinging to the remainder of mere happiness. Fourth refers to the fourth joy, which is transformed into what is called co-emergent. From those joys and supreme joys, and what are these joys like? It is said, one should cultivate, what should be cultivated is joy and so on, which is with discrimination. The fourth is the meaning of being free from discrimination. For supreme joy and so on, supreme joy is speech, because it is bound by a small amount of the continuous nature of clinging to self and self. Dispassion is freedom from attachment. Nirvana is abandoning the bonds of karma and affliction. Madhyamaka refers to merely being in equipoise, from which it truly arises. Mere joy is like that, which is the meaning of the first joy. That is also the appearance of samsara. Abandon these co-emergents, for these, refers to the three joys and so on, thinking that the nature of being extremely unattached to samsara and nirvana is co-emergent. What is it like? It is said, without desire and so on, is without attachment,
