That is a seven-letter phrase. It means that meditation without attachment is the very nature of reality. The very nature of reality has been spoken of. My object is thought and mind up to that point. Whatever is the very nature of that, is just as it is. Thus it is said, Whatever sentient beings themselves see, hear, smell, taste, and touch, etc., whatever they experience, all of those are the very nature of their own minds. Therefore, wherever and by whomever something is seen, etc., in that very place, that very self-nature of their own mind is not at all different from their own mind. Whatever appears as forms, such as happiness and blue, are the manifestations of those minds. Likewise, enemies and captives, etc., and actions and non-actions, etc., and the forms of the Tathagatas, etc., are also the minds of those. It is said that the mind itself is, these demons are the mind itself. The mind itself is the Tathagata. For the purpose of taming one's own mind, the demons should be pacified. This is from those words. If that is the case, how are sentient beings not liberated? It is said, those, etc., those who commonly go have the very nature of great bliss. However, such self-awareness is not something that one experiences oneself, but is grasped by ordinary forms. They are grasped as if grasping demons, because they have realization. Because they grasp after realizing things. However, ordinary people do not realize the nature of things, nor do they understand. Liberation is attained only by meditating on things. If one does not meditate in that way, the nature will not become apparent. From seeing the nature, things are seen, because the nature itself is liberation. That will also be explained, The nature itself is Nirvana. The co-emergent nature is also not an object to be grasped, because of attachment to grasping, etc. Therefore it is said, It will be accomplished from self-awareness. Wherein, self-awareness is

The great bliss of co-emergent is truly realized by wisdom itself. Therefore, the great seal is accomplished. If it is only realization, how can it be accomplished? It is said, "Because of self-awareness, it is cultivated." This means that there is no other accomplishment except cultivating self-awareness. It should be understood that contemplating the nature of the co-emergent nature deity will grant liberation. It is said in the scriptures that good and non-good deeds are the co-emergent nature. This means that (they) are the nature of self-awareness. Although this is so, how can one be liberated? It is said, "From harm arises karma." Here, harm refers to conceptual thought, meaning attachment. This is because the co-emergent is obscured by the obscuration of knowledge and cannot be seen, so the appearance of karma arises from the co-emergent itself. Just like a person with cataracts sees clumps of hair from unreal (phenomena) in the pure sky. It is said in the scriptures, who can take it away? This refers to the co-emergent joy that destroys karma and afflictions from oneself. It is said, one does it oneself, which means also creating karma and afflictions, meaning that one creates liberation and samsara oneself. It is said in the scriptures, oneself is the king, which refers to the nature without attachment to samsara and nirvana, and the one who abides in non-abiding nirvana is oneself. It is said in the scriptures, oneself is the lord, which means that oneself pervades oneself. Alternatively, from oneself, the mandala is manifested, and destroying the attachment to those such as holding oneself. Oneself is the lord of the mandala, therefore is the king, meaning that oneself pervades the stable and the moving. Now (the text) explains liberation from the obscuration of afflictions. (The text) begins with desire, etc. Desire is attachment to the need for the activities of samsara. Hatred is extreme mental suffering. Jealousy is intolerance of the merits of others. Ignorance is the obscuration of knowledge, that is, the nature of clinging to the five aggregates, etc., as permanent, as self, etc. Pride is mental arrogance, because of which the five aggregates are established as self.
