It is to abide and take a vow. How is it? It is said: "Outer" means going and coming there. Its meaning is: Hey son, "outer" means where? It is said: "To gather there." Where to go? Where the ground comes, gather there. Who? It is said: "Abiding in the realm of good conduct." Regarding "gathering with the good yoginis is supreme," it means not separating from whom? The place of gathering is definitely the word of going without separating from those good yogis. There, the yoginis gather, you have made it a word beyond worldly terms, therefore it is said: "Whatever is said," etc., abiding in vows, etc., is to indicate letting go of the rosary. Then again, instructing to gather oneself with the hand of the rosary, it is instructing to manifest gathering by letting go of the rosary. Or, without hindering one's own sect that transcends the world, summoning and speaking, the yogini says to do all those, those indicate the accomplishment of the rosary. Then saying the place of gathering, "place," etc., those are also easy to understand. Regarding "these," etc., these are the twelve grounds, meaning the twelve grounds are completely pure. Lord Protector of the Ten Grounds, do not express it by others. It means, because these places of the Lord of the Ten Grounds and Protector Heruka are spoken of. What will it become? Not by others, but by the wisdom of this Bodhisattva, pure and without distinction, is its nature, meaning the grounds are completely pure. Among them, the grounds are the Joyful Ground, etc. That is, the first ground is the Joyful Ground. Similarly, the Immaculate Ground, the Luminous Ground, the Flaming Ground, the Difficult to Conquer Ground, the Manifest Ground, the Far-Reaching Ground, the Immovable Ground, the Ground of Good Intelligence, and the Cloud of Dharma. The eleventh ground is the Buddha Ground. Those grounds, why did the Buddha, the Bhagavan, say that the first ground is the Joyful Ground? Why

In short, it goes up to what is called the eleventh bhumi of the Buddha. The first bhumi is called the Extremely Joyful Bhumi because it holds vast aspiration and obtains a mind that transcends the world, and because it increases with love and holds extreme joy. The second bhumi is called the Immaculate Bhumi because it gives rise to all happiness and holds freedom from the defilement of broken morality. The third bhumi is called the Luminous Bhumi because it relies on and holds immeasurable light, and also holds its samadhi and its hearing and thought. The fourth bhumi is called the Blazing Wisdom Bhumi because the firewood of afflictions is burned by the rays of wisdom, and because it cultivates its Dharma of enlightenment. The fifth bhumi is that those themselves are the Dharmas of the path of enlightenment, and because it holds the means of cultivating it—the body abiding in afflictions—it is called the Extremely Difficult to Conquer Bhumi. The sixth bhumi is called the Manifest Bhumi because it manifests by cultivating extreme involvement in manifest action, and holds almost signless attention. The seventh bhumi is called the Far-Going Bhumi because it continuously and uninterruptedly attends to signs, thereby engaging for a long time, and holds extreme involvement in the pure realm. The eighth bhumi is called the Immovable Bhumi because signlessness is spontaneously accomplished, and it holds without being moved by signs and the aggregates of afflictions. The ninth bhumi is called the Good Intelligence Bhumi because it abides in teaching the Dharma in all ways, and obtains faultless and extremely vast wisdom. The tenth bhumi is called the Cloud of Dharma Bhumi because, like the sky, it spreads and clarifies from the abodes of evil destinies of the body, like a great cloud and a treasury of Dharma. The eleventh bhumi is called the All-Illuminating Buddha Bhumi because it utterly destroys the extremely subtle obscurations of afflictions, and there is no obstruction to destroying afflictions, and it manifestly awakens in all ways. The bhumi of adhimukti-caryā (practice of conviction) is included in all, because there is no difference. Because the Buddha has also become the fruit, it is not taught separately, so there are ten bhumis, such as the Extremely Joyful Bhumi, and the abodes and so on, in their proper order.
