A-ro-li-ka-go. These were spoken so that they might be understood by other names. Brahma, all-pervading, and so forth. If you wonder why these names are so called, it is said: Brahma is nirvana, and so forth. Nirvana is mirror-like wisdom. Therefore, by the nature of nirvana, the Buddha Vairochana is called Brahma. The utterly pure dharmadhatu is the nature of all dharmas, so pervading is abiding. Akshobhya is called all-pervading. By the nature of accomplishing activities, it bestows the characteristic of benefit, both mundane and supramundane, to all these sentient beings, so it is peaceful, that is, Amoghasiddhi. By the nature of equality wisdom, all dharmas are equal, so everything is Ratnasambhava. By the nature of discriminating wisdom, individually realizing suchness, great bliss is like space itself, suchness is Amitabha. Joy is coemergent great bliss, just by the state of realizing its nature, perfect enlightenment is Vajrasattva. If all families are gathered together, there are six Tathagatas. Therefore, what is called perfect enlightenment is that the particularly excellent Buddha is perfect enlightenment. Again, wisdom itself is the family, so it should be taken as the family, and it should be examined by this. For this, since there is no signifier and nothing to be signified, it is emptiness. There is no meditator, which refers to what is contemplated by the yogi.

Through the manner of gathering all of these together, the mind is Vajrasattva, abiding in the manner of the three realms being one. To explain the names such as Brahma, it is said, "Brahma." To explain from where it comes, it is said, "Brahma Nirvana." It means that the extremely peaceful and non-dual wisdom, the very nature of Nirvana, is Brahma. Because it pervades all phenomena, it is Vishnu. It is peaceful in the manner of all peace. Because it abides in the nature of all and the nature of all phenomena, it is all. Through the supreme of bliss, through the great bliss without object, that itself is Suchness. Joy is realized through the union of wisdom and means being non-dual, therefore, the nature of realization is perfectly enlightened, that is, enlightened with distinction. Or, that itself arises purely from the body, it is also called a deity. It is also called Bhagavan, to explain the reason, it is said, "Having the Destroyer." The meaning of Destroyer is: having power and beauty, splendor and fame and wisdom, and then being endowed with diligence, therefore it is known as Destroyer. Or, because it eradicates the demons of afflictions and so on from the root, therefore wisdom is said to be the Destroyer. Destroyer is said to be the one who destroys. Because wisdom destroys the demons of afflictions, wisdom also destroys afflictions, therefore wisdom is said to be the Destroyer. It is known. The meaning of the words such as mother mentioned earlier is: mother is the one who generates, because the one who generates beings is all the world. Or, beings means the dependent. Generating means moving. Or, generating beings means the great bliss that generates beings, because it generates beings, therefore wisdom is said to be mother. That itself is sister, because it distinguishes and shows joy and so on. That itself is the bathing woman, with the nature of desire, purified by great desire, therefore it is the bathing woman. That itself is the one who draws out the qualities of all Buddhas, therefore it is the daughter. That itself is the dancer, all phenomena
