Yogis and yoginis residing here should diligently memorize the key instructions of body and speech gestures. One should not express oneself in ordinary language in gatherings of unruly outsiders and messengers and female messengers of other castes. When we express our own great secrets through gestures, those wicked people and external messengers and female messengers will become confused. If one does not speak of those great secrets through gestures, then the accomplishments of both this life and the next will be lost, and one will fall into the uninterrupted hell. Therefore, first are the body gestures, and then the speech gestures. This chapter only explains the body gestures, while the speech gestures will be explained in other chapters. Thus, both of these gestures should be understood as having definite and direct meanings. What is shown in this collected tantra should be understood as having a direct meaning, while the definite meaning should be understood from the root tantra. Therefore, for the time being, 'Whoever, brothers and sisters also,' here, brothers and sisters are the distinctions of the parts of skillful means and wisdom. It should be understood without doubt. ' This means that skillful means and wisdom with direct and definite meanings should be understood as they are. To this, 'Whoever, shows one finger,' this means that whether male or female, when someone suddenly comes before you and shows one finger, it should be understood as asking whether all is well. Similarly, 'With two fingers, it is well,' this means that in response, extending two fingers indicates that all is well. Furthermore, 'Holding the left thumb,' should be understood as a mudra of illness. It should be understood as a gesture of inquiring about illness, meaning whether body, speech, and mind are well. 'Whoever, gives the little finger,' this is the part of skillful means. 'Gives his thumb,' this is the part of wisdom, and it should be understood as wind and fire through the distinction of above and below. 'Whoever, shows the middle finger,' 'Gives his index finger,' this means that similarly, through the parts of above and below, it is understood as water and earth, that

Those places are also the nature of emptiness and compassion, both external and internal. As it is said in the Shri Paramadi Buddha Tantra: East and west are earth and wind, mutually they are means and wisdom. South and north are fire and water, mutually they are means and wisdom. Similarly, the feces channel of the moon's path, the sun causes urine to descend. The two channels of the mind above and below are, the seed descends and the dark one. Thus it is said. If someone points to the nameless one, then his throat should be strongly indicated. This means: Do you know the Dharma like the sky? If someone asks, the answer should be to point to the throat, which is the path of enjoying the six tastes, the throat chakra. By its power, the channels will grow, and it will show the Dharma like the sky, that is its meaning. If someone points to clothes, then his three tips should be strongly indicated. This means: Do you know the characteristics of the protector? The answer is: I know, that is, I know the nature of body, speech, and mind, the nature of the three channels. If someone points to the breasts, then its boundaries should be strongly indicated. This means: Is that obtained through the treatises of dance? If someone asks, the answer is: I know, that is, realized from the bliss of the union of the two senses, that is its meaning. If someone points to the teeth, then his mouth should be strongly indicated. This means: Do you know the nature of wisdom? The answer is: I know, that is, possessing means and wisdom, that is its meaning. If someone points to angry wrinkles, then untying the topknot should be indicated. This means: Then you and I will debate the nature of means and wisdom. The answer is: There is no fear, let's debate. That is its meaning. If someone points to the forehead, then his back should be strongly indicated. This means: If the abode of the dakinis, the essence of the body, is on the head, do you know that? If someone asks, the answer is: I know, that is, besides the head, other bodies such as the back are also the abode of the dakinis, that is its meaning. If someone points to the soles of the feet, then one should play with the belly. This means: Then how should one enter those places? If someone asks.
