Having bowed down to the supreme being, Shakyamuni! Which chapter elaborates on the establishment of accomplishments? To those bewildered by the darkness of suffering of sentient beings, a detailed explanation of this should be written by Vajra Heart. Now, I shall explain which chapter skillfully demonstrates the accomplishments of both the mundane and the transcendent. Vajra Heart inquired: Among the dharmas that are like the sky, like bubbles in the ocean, how will sentient beings achieve accomplishment from the form of a deity of one's own desire? To this, the Bhagavan repeatedly declared that all dharmas, in the beginning, the end, and the middle, are like the sky. I have understood that these beings arise from their own conceptual thoughts. For example, in the great ocean, emptiness is discarded by some individuals, drifting without settling in one place. Similarly, how can these beings, driven and abiding by their respective conceptual thoughts, achieve accomplishment through practice? The Bhagavan replied: One who does not possess the yoga of selflessness, or does not strive in Heruka, will not abide even for a moment with the mind of another, desiring accomplishment. Thus it was said. O Vajra Heart, even so, a yogi who is in the initial stage of practice should enter the mandala that has been indicated, and at the time of the pride of the deity in the generation stage, and after it is completely perfected, if one abides in the yoga of the selflessness mother, then one will certainly become Hevajra. Therefore, one who desires accomplishment will not abide even for a moment with the mind of another, except by relying on the two stages. Thus it was said. Furthermore, the initial practitioner should first abide by being manifestly attached to the nature of color and form. When that is perfected, then one should train in the yoga of the selflessness mother. So, what is this selflessness mother like? Just as the directions of the sky do not constantly abide in everything, similarly, the protector of secret mantras does not abide in all dharmas. Just as things abide in the sky and are always manifest, yet that does not become a place of abiding, so too is the protector of secret mantras. The sky and the three times, etc., are like desiring separation, so is the secret
