Therefore, joy is the supreme division of the four distinctions. It is said that the semen of men and women is skillful means, and bliss is wisdom. Likewise, in terms of the completion stage, the saying "Thus, the four co-emergent aspects" is discarded entirely because it is the signifier, and in terms of the signified ultimate truth, it is the samadhi gathered by wind and water, and the four samadhis gathered by fire and earth. Thus, here, as in the "Nomenclature of Reality," it is also said, "The summit of the four dhyanas." These joys are also: the first joy is the hero himself, the supreme joy is the yogini, the exceedingly blissful joy is everything, and they know everything from the means. It is said that, by the distinction of forward and reverse order, for men, first the wind element is disturbed, then fire, water, and earth are disturbed in sequence. For women, the order is reversed, and first it is disturbed from earth. The distinctions of these joys are explained as: joy is a little happiness, supreme joy is more than that, joylessness is detachment from desire by joy, and the remainder is co-emergent joy. It is said that this meaning should also be understood by these vajra words below. Thus, first is the desire to touch, second is the desire for happiness, third is the nature of the destruction of desire, therefore the fourth should be cultivated. Thus it is shown that the vase, secret, and wisdom knowledges are the nature of decay and destruction, therefore it is certain that the four dhyanas should be cultivated. Likewise, in the Sutra of the Supreme First Buddha, it is also said, "The first three are the conventional truth, and the fourth is the ultimate truth." Supreme joy is said to be existence, joylessness is said to be nirvana, and the middle is only joy, therefore co-emergence is abandoned. It is said that these words should be understood in reverse order, the middle is only joy, which is the first joy. Then it is supreme joy. Then it is special joy, because it is to be distinguished by the union of power, therefore it is said in reverse order, and should be known from the mouth of the lama. Thus, the three joys that are spoken of are existence, that is, the nature of destruction, and are eternal.

In this verse, with the distinction of the co-emergent that transcends the world, the previous ones are abandoned by the branch of wisdom, and effort should be made in the subsequent places. Among them, the co-emergent of great wisdom should be symbolized by all the branches of previous wisdom, such as this: Yogis should take upon themselves that which transcends the realm of expression. Like this: There is no attachment and no detachment, and there is no clinging to the Middle Way. There is no method or wisdom in this, the very nature of reality is the illuminator, the co-emergent that is not spoken by others. Thus it is said. The waxing and waning moons are attachment and detachment, the sixteen parts of the Middle Way, in reality, are the sun and the moon and Rahu, or men and women and hermaphrodites, or Om (藏文:ཨོཾ།,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), or parts and bindus and sounds, none of which can be symbolized. Therefore, for that reason, those who cling to the bliss of nirvana cannot be found except by the lama, so it is shown that one should follow the lama. Like this: Nowhere can it be found, but by the lama's teaching of skillful means, it is known from my merit. Thus it is said. The symbolizer and the symbolized should be known from the vase of the guru's throat, with the branch of my accumulation of merit going first. Having first obtained the symbolized, one should look at it like this: The inferior, the middling, and the superior, and others and whatever they are, having meditated on that same taste of equality, look at all of these as equality. Thus it is said, it is a brief instruction. This vajra word, by those who have manifestly obtained the symbolized, abandoning the subtle thought and the gross thought and the Middle Way thought of the three worlds of moving and non-moving, shows that one should symbolize the unsymbolizable. As it is said in the root tantra: The wise and intelligent person of knowledge, abandoning sounds and bindus, etc., having symbolized the unsymbolizable, will hold the form of Hevajra. Thus it is said, for the sake of detailed explanation. The inferior are the meaning of subtle, should be spoken of as superior things, abandoning the two Middle Ways. Thus it is said, showing the non-moving.

Or the wisdom of seeing things as they are, or the desire, form, and formless realms, or any object, abandoning the three aspects of superior, middling, and inferior samadhi, and meditating on the co-emergent sameness of taste, this is its meaning. The "others" are the six senses. The "which" are those that are stable and moving. Therefore, even among the stable and moving, the moving should not be considered to exist in three things, because they are co-emergent in taste. "All this" means without self-nature. This means that these three worlds of outer and inner phenomena are emptiness, without self and other. Equality is the desire for sameness, meditating on that same taste, "equal" means the same. Taste is its wheel. Thus, according to the order of speaking, the wheel of existence of the three worlds, the twelve links of dependent origination, only from this arises the wheel of clear light and bliss, one should not seek elsewhere, this is its meaning. For this reason, meditate on the equality of one taste, this meaning is expressed in this way. It is said that the basis for equality and one taste is the wheel of existence itself, and apart from this, no other second meaning is seen. Therefore, for that reason, I say that all beings arise from me, and the three places also arise from me, I pervade all this, and I do not see any other nature of beings. Thus it is said. This wheel of clear light and bliss revolves and abides for children with deep sleep, wakefulness, dreams, and the bliss of sleep. That is the manifestation of the Dharmadhatu, as it is also said in the Mahayana Sutra: Bliss arises for the noble ones, and it shows fear to the children. If you see it, you will be liberated, and if you do not see it, you will not be liberated. Therefore, one should know that existence itself is the supreme abode of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and abide in it. For example, thus the yogi, having known this, whatever profound samadhi he meditates on, even a person with little merit will have no doubt of achieving it. Thus it is said. This meaning is the root tantra.
