likewise. At the end of the summoning, Bo (Tibetan: བཽ་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit:, literal Chinese meaning:) Sha (Tibetan: ཥ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit:, literal Chinese meaning:) Ta (Tibetan: ཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit:, literal Chinese meaning:) should be given. Thus, it is the mantra for traversing cities. The meditation on a single deity and the recitation with red flowers, as well as through fire offerings, etc., will be mentioned in the subsequent explanation. Similarly, the mantra of Kurukulle should be recited. Here, the support body of the syllable Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning:) is accomplished. The syllable Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, literal Chinese meaning:) completes the speech of the goddess. In the element of wind, Kurukulle is expanded by Amitabha. On the forehead is the syllable Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning:). On the tongue is the syllable Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, literal Chinese meaning:). In the throat is the syllable Ku (Tibetan: ཀུ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ku, literal Chinese meaning:). In the heart is the syllable Ru (Tibetan: རུ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ru, literal Chinese meaning:). In the navel is the syllable Ku (Tibetan: ཀུ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ku, literal Chinese meaning:). In the secret place is the syllable Lle (Tibetan: ལླེ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: lle, literal Chinese meaning:), which is the placement of the limbs. Having filled the breath by inhaling, one should recite a hundred thousand times, and one should not move the rosary during exhalation. This is the mantra of Kurukulle. Now, the definitive meaning of the protection mantra will be explained. The syllable Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning:) indicates a soft seat. A pleasant place with fragrant earth, like the moon. The syllable Da (Tibetan: ད, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: da, literal Chinese meaning:) is the mandala of the seven suns. The syllable Sha (Tibetan: ཀྵ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ṣa, literal Chinese meaning:) is the various vajras. Below, above, and in all directions, make a ten-spoked wheel, and then in the center, from the syllable Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning:) comes the power of the wrathful king. On the eastern spoke is Yamantaka. On the southern spoke is the terminator of wisdom. On the western spoke is the terminator of the lotus. On the northern spoke is the terminator of obstacles. Fire is Acala. In the direction of the unreal is the king of desire. In the direction of wind is the blue staff. In the direction of power is the great powerful one. On the upper spoke is the crown. Below is the king of harmful beauty. Then, the second recitation is the mandala of the desired sun. The syllable Sha (Tibetan: ཀྵ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ṣa, literal Chinese meaning:) is the various vajras, and by it, having become one, it is the three supreme vajras. The three syllables Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning:) are the vajra ground, the stacked house, and the vajra lotus seat. The syllable Phat (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, literal Chinese meaning:) is striking the malicious one with a phurba. The syllable Svaha (Tibetan: སྭཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: svā, literal Chinese meaning:) is the invitation of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The syllable Ha (Tibetan: ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hā, literal Chinese meaning:) is the explanation of all offerings and the confession of sins, This is the definitive meaning of this mantra. Now, the twenty-four actions spoken of in the root tantra will be explained.

They will be transformed into actions that ripen into fruition, and the words of mantras should be recited. Here, in this concise tantra, all matters that are in accordance with or contrary to the ritual are concealed from the ignorant and wicked teachers. They should be understood through the lineage of the holy guru, etc., and not through reading scriptures. Otherwise, by consulting other tantras, in any reasonable way, after correctly understanding many tantras, the words of the Blessed One should be adopted, and not merely through foolish faith. As the Blessed One said: My teachings are good in the beginning, good in the middle, and good in the end. It is impossible for the beginning to be good and the middle and end to be bad, while the beginning and middle are bad and the end is good, just as children commonly think, first meditating on the meditation of conceptual thought, in the middle meditating on the bliss of the two faculties, and finally meditating on non-conceptual emptiness, meditating on great bliss, this is like the cause of bad words, and all the fruits that arise from it will appear. Just as from the seed of Kotrava, the fruit of rice will not arise. The fruit that arises from the seed of conceptual thought will be full of conceptual thought. The fruit that arises from non-conceptual thought will be transformed into non-conceptual thought. Therefore, the beginning is good, the middle is good, and the end is good. Just as the seed grows, just as the tree bears fruit. This is seen everywhere in the world, and this is dependent origination. Any other kind of mantra cannot accomplish other actions. In the world, at no time can the sun pacify heat. As it is said in the root tantra of Hevajra, as it is clearly shown to me, similarly in this concise tantra, I will elaborate. The seed of earth makes it hard, like ignorance and a stake driven in. The seed of water, which is always peaceful, is also increasing and non-toxic. The seed of fire greatly attracts, power and action are constant. Hatred and expulsion are the seeds of wind, and they will also increase poison. The seed of emptiness cuts off poison, and it is also killing and harming. Restoring, awakening, and joy are accomplished through the seed of wisdom.
