By blessing, namely in the center of the moon of Vairochana. The syllable Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, literal meaning: Āḥ) blesses speech, namely the sun has immeasurable light. The syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ) blesses the mind, namely immovable in the center of Rāhu at the heart. This straightforward meaning is that vowels such as the selfless mother should be spoken for the purpose of collecting mantras. A Ā, I Ī, U Ū, Ṛ Ṝ, Ḷ Ḹ, E AI, O AU, Aṃ Aḥ. With definite meaning, again, each should be grasped by reading in a collected manner, namely A I Ṛ U Ḷ K, A E AR O AL CA, HA YA RA VA LA ṬA SA. These seeds are on the white side, belonging to the lunar parts. In the manner of children reading, the straightforward meaning is not spoken by the Bhagavan, as is definite in the root tantra. Similarly, the mantra for subduing cities is: Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Oṃ) A Ka Ca Ṭa Ta Pa Ya Śa Svāhā. This is the straightforward meaning. The definite meaning is that A Ku Ha, those to be distinctly separated, originate from the throat. I Cu Ya Śa originate from the palate. Ṛ Ṭu Ra Ṣa originate from the crown of the head. U Pu Va and labials originate from the lips. Ḷ Tu La Sa originate from the teeth. Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Oṃ) A Ā Ha Hā Ṅa Ña Ṇa Ma Na Ṅka Svāhā. This is the mantra for agitating cities. The chapter on collecting mantras should be learned from the words of the lama. In the root tantra, the definite meaning of the instructions is that Āli is thirty moments divided by the lunar parts. Each day and night, the sixty illuminations of the sun should be recited by the division of staffs. With the sound of A Ka Ca Ṭa Ta Pa Ya Śa, it is spoken with the definite meaning of Āli and Kāli. If one recites a hundred thousand recitations of Āli and Kāli, one can move the three worlds, what need is there to mention just one city? Āli and Kāli should be spoken, like this: A Ā I Ī Ṛ Ṝ U Ū Ḷ Ḹ E AI AR ĀR O AU AL ĀL HA HĀ YA YĀ RA RĀ VA VĀ LA LĀ, this is the order of expansion, inhaling with the recitation of Āli. Exhaling is Kāli, namely Ka Kā Kha Khā Ga Gā Gha Ghā Ṅa Ṅā, Ca Cā Cha Chā Ja Jā Jha Jhā Ña Ñā, Ṭa Ṭā Ṭha Ṭhā Ḍa Ḍā Ḍha Ḍhā Ṇa Ṇā, Pa Pā Pha Phā Ba Bā Bha Bhā Ma Mā, Ta Tā Tha Thā Da Dā Dha Dhā Na Nā, Sa Sā Va Vā Ṣa Ṣā Śa Śā Ka Kā, thus, first generate the syllable Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Oṃ).
