Therefore, two verses will be explained: Like a yoke hole in the ocean, a turtle's neck enters into it, Having obtained this human form with its great feast of excellent Dharma, Connected with impermanence, and with doubts about the opportunity of karma, Why should not this tongue of mine take the essence? 'I' means showing oneself. 'Having obtained' means having obtained. 'Human form' means birth. 'Having a great feast of excellent Dharma' means the distinction of human form. Excellent Dharma is excellent Dharma. Or, beautiful Dharma is excellent Dharma. If the sound of Dharma is used in many ways such as scriptures and Nirvana, then similarly, here it also refers to the Buddha's scriptures. Similarly, the Dharma taught in the sutras also refers to peace and complete Nirvana, and so on. It is both great and a feast, so it is a great feast, because it is the cause of higher realms and definite goodness. Similar to the great feast of excellent Dharma is the great feast. Whatever has the great feast of excellent Dharma is that which has the great feast of excellent Dharma, and should be connected with having obtained human form. The ocean is the great ocean. Among them, the yoke is the instrument for holding the head. Its hole is the hole. Among them, the turtle's neck is that which enters into it. Like a yoke hole in the ocean, a turtle's neck enters into it, what is the metaphor for human form, it is like a yoke hole in the ocean, a turtle's neck enters into it. The Blessed One said: Bhikshus, here the great earth becomes one water, and then becomes one sea, this is a sutra that is completely in accordance with the topic because of its vastness. Among them, the meaning of the limb is: Just as entering the great ocean, being violently moved by the wind, the neck of a turtle that rises once after a hundred years into the hole of a yoke with one hole, is difficult to enter according to the analogy of a crow and a palm fruit, similarly, beings who have fallen into the great ocean of bad destinies, driven by the great wind of the path of unwholesome karma, it is difficult to obtain human form.

It is called "Difficult to Obtain Leisure." Therefore, having obtained the difficult-to-obtain human form, what should one do? It is said, "Connected with impermanence." As it is said, impermanence means the cause of destruction. Some say it is only destruction. Being connected with it means constantly following impermanence, which means the momentary destruction of compounded things. My tongue will explain. Therefore, after explaining the impermanence that possesses a share of happiness, it will be explained that one lives near one's own tongue, that is, "with doubts about the opportunity of karma." It means that those who perform virtuous and non-virtuous deeds, from virtuous deeds comes the human form. The non-virtuous deeds of those virtuous deeds are opportunities. Doubt about this is hesitation, because there is the cutting off of the tongue of life, and the suppression of diseases and so on. Taking the essence is taking. What is the essence of the tongue? It is the true praise of the qualities of the Tathagata. It is also said, "The essence of the sacred Dharma is words, other than that it is the sound of a crow." Why? It is impossible. Or, why is it that it should not be done in any way? This refers to what exists in one's own continuum. Tongue refers to words, because the result is placed on the cause. Only the tongue is called words. After explaining the necessity of taking the essence of praising words, the teacher understands the opportunity of others' words, because he knows the limit of qualities, so it is worthy to praise the Tathagata. If one does not know the limit of the great qualities of the Bhagavan, why strive to praise the Bhagavan? It is said, "Thus, the qualities of the Sage, although the objects are known to be countless, yet with reverence for one's own benefit, one strives to speak of one part of it." Thus, saying that the objects are countless, thus means the meaning of saying thus. Having obtained the difficult-to-obtain human form, and adorned with the arising of the Buddha, why not take the essence of the tongue? Such is the meaning after careful consideration.
