The commentary on the "Hundred and Fifty Verses of Praise," Delightful. The commentary on the "Hundred and Fifty Verses of Praise" Delightful. Chapter One: Explanation of the Invocation of Praise. ༄༅།། In Sanskrit: Śata pañca śatika nāma sya stotva ṭīkā. In Tibetan: The commentary on the "Hundred and Fifty Verses of Praise." Homage to the Three Jewels! The continuous praise by the master Dignāga, explains the profound meaning briefly. "Hundred" means the meaning of one hundred and fifty. From that wonderful consciousness, with reverence to the Victorious One, the delightful monk with joy, with faith in that aspect, will thoroughly explain the distinctions. Here, first, the invocation of the "Hundred and Fifty Verses of Praise," and the praise through the means of cause, effect, and medicine, and the thirteenfold explanation is as follows: the praise of invocation, and because the cause of the six perfections is unique, they are made into one, which is the praise of the cause. The praise of the effect is threefold, with distinctions such as incomparable: the praise of the incomparable, the praise of the wonderful, and the praise of the body. The praise of medicine is eightfold, with distinctions such as compassion: the praise of compassion, the praise of speech, the praise of the teachings, the praise of aspiration, the praise of entering the path, the praise of undertaking hardships, the praise of the wise, and the praise of being without debt. The verses summarizing these are: Invocation praise and cause, Six kinds of effect, incomparable, Wonderful and likewise body, Medicine praise eight kinds, Compassion, speech, and teachings, Aspiration and entering the path, Hardships undertaken and the wise, Without debt, thirteen in total. The complete explanation of each of these thirteen praises will be explained later. Among them, "invocation" means the initial commencement. The invocation will show with what meanings it is explained, and also for the praises of cause and so on, it will be thoroughly explained with which verses what meaning is explained. For now, the verses of the invocation praise

The meaning of 'ga' is that of being worthy of offering, such as taking refuge in the Tathagata, as well as the cause of the Tathagata, and that all the faults of the Tathagata are exhausted and can be inferred, and that even without knowing all the virtues, one praises the Blessed One with only one aspect of virtue and speaks only of one aspect of the merit of prostration. Here, too, is a summarized verse: In the teacher, refuge, etc., are worthy of offering. The absence of faults can be inferred. Infinite virtues are also possessed. Praise here is the direction of prostration. To explain in detail "in whatever, in all aspects," two verses will be composed: In whom all faults are, Completely absent from the beginning, In whom, in all aspects, All virtues abide. If there is a mind, One should take refuge in that one, Praising, honoring, and abiding In the teachings of that one. In whom all faults are, As it is said, connect with the words such as 'one should take refuge in that one.' The word 'whoever' is a common word, but in meaning, it refers only to the Buddha, the Blessed One. Because there is no other who has exhausted all faults and possesses all virtues, therefore it is said thus: All-knowing, possessing all virtues, Possessing that, also without defect, Faults and habitual tendencies, that also, The only protector does not possess. Thus it is said. The word 'fault' means desire, etc., because it causes faults. Or, causing faults in the streams of body, speech, and mind, is to make it a non-vessel, therefore it is a fault. 'Does not possess' means does not possess, because no fault has been found. 'From the beginning' is to clarify the wonder of the Blessed One's perfection of abandonment and realization. Or, it is a particle of speech to complete the sentence. In whom there is no fault, that one is worthy of offering, such as taking refuge. Because external heretics are free from desire, and because learners have no faults, it will become a fault of being worthy of offering refuge, etc. Therefore, to eliminate that fault, this is said: The word 'all' means not
