The summit means a small amount. Then, what the Bhagavan has not proclaimed is what has not been praised. How can all the qualities be spoken of? Similarly, excellence is special. I am mine. Joy is happiness. Delight is being in the heart. If one says, "How can one be happy by not proclaiming just a portion of the qualities?" The answer to this refutation is, even if it has not been done, and so on, these are said. Not done means not done. The water of the great ocean is water. Like pacifying the suffering of beings, it will be pacified. Like, for what reason? Therefore, by praising just a portion of the qualities of the Bhagavan, the great ocean of immeasurable qualities, I am exceedingly joyful and delighted. This is a brief summary. Now, I will explain the dedication of the fruits of praise: By the wisdom born of my faith in the Sage, By the fruit born of this virtuous deed, May the minds of beings, shaken by the red whirlwind of evil thoughts, Be at peace! By the fruit born of this pure deed, This is the extensive explanation. The fruit born means the fruit has arisen. The "this" here arises from the Praise in One Hundred and Fifty Verses. Virtue is the virtuous deed of the nature of speech. What is it like? It is said: Faith in the Sage, and so on, is the wisdom arising from faith in the Sage. That which is born from that wisdom, that which has arisen, is the wisdom born of faith in the Sage. By the fruit born of that virtuous deed. Attachment and hatred, and so on, are evil thoughts. Because the mind is distracted towards objects, it is like a red whirlwind sweeping. Being swept by that whirlwind is like evil thoughts sweeping like a red whirlwind. May the minds of beings be at peace! That is, may the minds of all beings become autonomous and become Arhats. This is the intention. Thus, this is the explanation of the Praise in One Hundred and Fifty Verses, distinguishing between cause and effect. By praising the Sugata, Whatever merit I have obtained, For the sake of pacifying the suffering of beings, May I become a Sugata from that! Named Praise in One Hundred and Fifty Verses.
