Increasing and expanding. It is called auspicious because it accomplishes the perfections of gods and humans. You are you. Welcoming is going to your place. Approaching and relying on the practice of hearing the Dharma is to fully understand what is sinful and what is not. Because it transforms into wisdom, it means generating wisdom. Supreme means having characteristics. After hearing the Dharma, relying on the act of taking refuge in the Bhagavan and the Dharma is reverence. Making fearless means transcending the fear of falling into evil destinies. Whoever goes to the Buddha for refuge will not fall into evil destinies. This is the verse. Because of taking refuge, understanding the noble path is serving and honoring. In this way, one can universally serve and honor the Tathagata because one accomplishes his teachings. After serving and honoring, one becomes happy, which is happiness, and happiness is said to be happiness. Here, happiness refers to the characteristic of Nirvana, which is the complete pacification of all suffering, because it is said that supreme happiness is Nirvana. Having the state of accomplishing this is happiness, meaning attaining Nirvana. Furthermore, just as fire can become a protector to soothe the suffering of those who are burned, how are you, who are like a great ocean of the nature of great merit, to those who are afflicted by sins? It is said: "With perfect morality, pure; with perfect meditation, clear; with perfect wisdom, unconfused; you are the great ocean of merit." It is said, "With perfect morality, pure." Morality has been explained before. Its perfection is excellence. Being pure with perfect morality is like a great ocean without impurities because it is free from the defilement of evil deeds. Meditation is virtue, which is single-mindedness. Its perfection is purity through the practice of pure characteristics, because it is not contaminated by the mud of desire and so on, so it is like a great ocean without turbidity. Wisdom is the discernment of dharmas.

Pa o. That is perfection. Pa is special. Because it is immovable, it means 'immovable.' The sutra of the Tathagata's wisdom, which illuminates infinite appearances, says: like the great ocean of the immovable. Therefore, like the great ocean, it is in accordance with the Dharma, so the great ocean of merit is the nature of merit. Because there is much merit, it is like a wooden chariot of the nature of wood. Furthermore: Your body is worthy of being viewed as a jewel, Your good words are worthy of being heard as a jewel, The Dharma is worthy of being practiced as a jewel, You are the source of jewels. Your body is worthy of being viewed as a jewel, etc. The body is color, etc. Worthy of being viewed is a jewel among those worthy of being viewed, because the signs and so on are perfect, so it benefits by being worthy of trust. Worthy of being heard is worthy of being heard. Among those worthy of being heard, it is precious, so it is a jewel worthy of being heard. Good speech is for the sake of benefiting. The Dharma is good speech, and its meaning has been stated. That is, the roots, powers, and limbs of enlightenment, etc. That is a jewel worthy of being practiced. Practice is if one practices the nature of the Dharma, it is a jewel, because it greatly benefits. Therefore, you are the source of the jewel of qualities, well done! Qualities are the body, etc., and that itself is the source of those jewels, the place of production. You are you. Furthermore: You are the island that has crossed the river, the savior of the praised self, the refuge from the fear of existence, the guide of the liberated. You are the island that has crossed the river, this is the extensive explanation. You are the Bhagavan. The river is the afflictions and near afflictions, etc. Crossed over means driven far from the path of liberation, such as the Nirgranthas, etc., who completely use fire, consider discipline and asceticism to be supreme, and are driven by the river of this view, like an island driven by a river, so it is an island, because it is placed in Nirvana. 'Savior' means the act of saving. 'Praised self' refers to the praised nature of mind.
