To you who have transcended the keeping of morality, I prostrate to you, pure and immaculate. Abandoning the expression of afflictions, Contemplating the end of peaceful actions. Skilled at eliminating what is not beneficial, Manifestly striving to increase benefit, Uniquely devoted to love, I prostrate to you, the noble spiritual friend. To you, who are the lamp for sentient beings obscured and plunged into darkness by the thick veil of ignorance, I pay homage. Because they lack wisdom regarding the Dharma, they do not know what is beneficial as beneficial, nor do they know what is harmful as harmful. Even becoming wise depends on you. Most children know to abandon what is harmful but reject what is beneficial. They do not even seek what is beneficial, so they turn to rely on various harms. To show them the means, by relying on you, both will be truly realized. To you, who have become the physician, I pay homage. Whoever you, the chief, become the guru of, that one is also the guru of the world. Therefore, to you, the guru of gurus, the lama, I pay homage. Even the offerings made by worldly scholars are offerings to you, the essence of faith. To you, the supreme object of offering, who are to be offered to by those worthy of offering, I pay homage. Whoever is worthy of praise praises you, and all those worthy of praise also praise you. To you, who are worthy of praise, I pay homage. The gods also pay homage to you. The sages also pay homage to you. All those worthy of prostration also prostrate to you. To you, who are worthy of homage, I pay homage.
