Etc. Those who are extremely devoted to their senses and diligent in the treatises praising the Buddha, whatever stream of Dharma arises in each moment, cannot be held even slightly because they are not omniscient. Even those with power are subject to impermanence, and this wealth is also very difficult to obtain. Who is more deceived than those who do not strive in this work? Praising the Blessed One is worthy of praise, but praising is not superior to praise, which is called praise, that is, the first chapter. Chapter Two: Praising Homage Blessed One, when you were alive, I was one who was devoted to faith. Why did you moisten me with compassion and look upon me with the eyes of a Buddha? Your compassion, remembering it in my heart, appears. I, who should be revered, pay homage to you as if you were present. Omniscient one, who can know you, the omniscient one? With the self-nature of great self, the knower, I pay homage to you. One cannot say, "This is it, it is like this." You are not like my realm. Whatever it is, however it is, it is not measured. I pay homage to one like you. Protector, you are like yourself. How are the Buddhas? Like you. There is not the slightest other. I pay homage to you as such. How do you know yourself? How do you know yourself as you are? How do you not seek others? I pay homage to you as such. How do you proclaim with your self-nature, with compassion, the ten powers, etc.? I pay homage to you as such. From now on, the source and essence of your qualities, that is, from this, I will manifest and gather, and pay homage to you as much as I can. Arhat, I pay homage to you. Worthy of offering, I pay homage to you. Rational one, I pay homage to you. I bow and pay homage to you. The perfect Buddha is a jewel, the jewel is the nature of Dharma. The Sangha is the source of jewels, I pay homage to the assembly of the Three Jewels. Worthy of offering, you are a jewel, and your intention is also a jewel. The sacred Dharma is the source of jewels, I pay homage to you, who are all jewels. Because you are the most supreme of all jewels
