The practice is done with great compassion and respect for those who request it. "Of the body," and so on. The asceticism of the body means the suffering of afflictions. The knot made by it means bondage, that is, afflictions. Destroying it means destroying and completely abandoning it. If one wants to destroy the knot from the body, what is it? It is said to practice nakedness. It means the naked ascetics of the unclothed. Their tenet is this: for example, the karma done in the previous life is exhausted by asceticism. And here, one does not accumulate good or bad that did not exist before. Therefore, when the karma in the continuum of the body is exhausted, birth is exhausted. When birth is exhausted, suffering is exhausted. When that is exhausted, liberation is attained. "You," and so on. Because it is the mind, it is said to be of the mind, or this is of the mind, so it is the asceticism of the mind. It shows this: you want to destroy the knot, exhaust karma, and exhaust afflictions by the asceticism of the mind, but not by the body. Therefore, the scholar Aśvaghoṣa said: "The self is afflicted, the childish person desires, likewise the senses, attached to the various objects. Both of these are seen as faults. I, with nectar, realize the pure path." And so on is said. Therefore, it is reasonable like this: because the mind is the place of all afflictions, the mind itself is the maker of all harm. Therefore, it must be thoroughly subdued so that it does not become the basis of afflictions later. Because there is no place, afflictions will not arise. Without afflictions, actions will not arise. Without those, one will not take birth. Without that, it is liberation. The Blessed One has well taught it. The asceticism of the body is meaningless, because the king of the mind goes against it, therefore it turns back from what is not its own business. The speculators, things, etc.

are the non-Buddhists. Things' refers to those that lack self, nature, time, direction, etc., yet exist and are considered permanent, and they accept karma. 'Without dependence' means without investigation or analysis. They say this: 'One should not analyze with non-dharmic discrimination. If one becomes like the blind and mute, who would analyze what is said?' Or, those who are deeply devoted to treatises of evil discrimination are sophists. They, with the name of perversion, accept doctrines with causes that have multiple boundaries, and try to prove non-existent things as existent things. For example, the cause of milk is dung, because it comes from that cause, so it is like milk. Whatever comes from the cause of a cow is the cause of milk. For example, milk and cow dung both come from that cause, therefore cow dung is also the cause of milk. Whatever is not the cause of milk does not come from that cause, like stones, etc. Here, ignorant people, even if they think that cow dung cannot be the cause of milk, are happy to accept such a view. And those with wisdom will know that it is something with multiple boundaries such as leather, hair, urine, etc. Furthermore, they think that I exist, because my function can be seen, like fire. Whatever has a function that can be seen, exists. For example, fire can see its function of ripening, etc. Where there is no fire, no function can be seen, like a rabbit's horn. They say that my function is the agent, the enjoyer, the goer, the indicator, etc. And those with wisdom think that since the body, which is the basis, is not established, therefore its cause is also non-existent, and it should be added that 'this has many faults.' 'Word power' and so on, 'Word power you' refers to a mute person. 'Word power' means the Lord of Speech. 'Not depending even a little' is well explained.

What I say is that whatever is said without investigation and detailed analysis, there is no well-spoken word that is unreasonable. That is, what the Blessed One said, the suffering of birth, the suffering of old age, etc., in short, the five aggregates of clinging are suffering, all that is said is just like that. Furthermore, taking precepts is happiness, giving makes one happy, loving friends are hatred, etc., all these are infallible and completely true, and should be widely applied. In the words Netchö etc., Netchö is the son of growth. From which path does one go? It is said to pierce the sun, that is, to pierce and penetrate the wheel of the sun. Worldly people say that liberation comes from the center of the sun wheel. Regarding liberation, Buddhists believe that liberation is the absence of aggregates, aggregates are suffering, and the absence of aggregates is liberation. That is to say, all these five aggregates are endowed with the three sufferings, and unwillingly abide in suffering. For these, there is nothing to like or want. For example, the impure aggregate, because the impure great aggregate is also impure, and people dislike it, similarly, the center or slightly, even the extremely small part is also disliked, and gods and people dislike it in all respects. Therefore, it is said that purity and the gods, and people praise. Thus, if there is an aggregate at the top of existence, it is also because every moment is connected with fabrication, and unwilling things are done, and the noble ones consider it suffering, then there is no need to mention hell. Therefore, the extinction of this suffering aggregate is supreme bliss, and that is liberation. Among the non-Buddhists, some say that due to the power of wisdom, karma and afflictions are exhausted, and the body and senses of the person etc. no longer
