Then, engaging in adultery, seeing the beauty of the mother's form, lustful desire arose. He thought, "It is a pity that I will die and not be able to enjoy happiness with this beautiful young woman." So he began to engage in intercourse with her, and as a result, he died on the spot. Soon, all the great hermits in that dwelling saw this tragic scene. So, taking the helpless corpse, the mother, Kuntī, and the five sons, they went to Dhṛtarāṣṭra. They piled up firewood according to custom, placed the corpse on top with great ceremony, and Dhṛtarāṣṭra made offerings with barley flour. The mother entrusted her two sons to Kuntī, and then threw herself into the cremation fire. After that, Duryodhana and others gathered at the place for learning archery, and learned the methods of using weapons from Kṛpa and Droṇa. Because of a feud with Karṇa, the five sons of Pāṇḍu were imprisoned in the House of Lac. Later, they escaped at night, killed the Rakshasa Hiḍimba, and Bhīma married his sister Hiḍimbī, and she gave birth to a son named Ghaṭotkaca. After that, they went to Ekacakrā, and on the way they met Vyāsa, who blessed them so that they would obtain the kingdom and a wife. Then, they arrived at that city and stayed in the house of a Brahmin for four years. To repay him, they killed the Rakshasa Baka, and then went to the five cities to seize the kingdom. At the ceremony where the kings were choosing husbands, they obtained a wife named Draupadī, and the five brothers married her together and lived for a year. They went to Indraprastha and obtained the kingdom. After ruling for twenty-nine years, they killed kings such as Jarāsandha and performed sacrifices. Duryodhana and Yudhiṣṭhira played dice, and Yudhiṣṭhira was defeated by trickery, losing everything from the kingdom to himself in the bet. They then lived in the forest for twelve years, and then returned and lived in the city of Virāṭa for a year. Bhīma killed Kīcaka. After that, the battle began in Kurukṣetra.

joined in between. The one difficult to fight had eleven armies. Skya Bseng had seven sons. All of them died on the battlefield, and the one steadfast on the battlefield became king. He ruled for thirty-six years, and then went to the realm of the all-pervading one. The protector of the land, all the sons of Skya Bseng, and all those gods named Dharma who were born as dogs also passed away. Here, I will write the story of how the god named Dharma was born as a dog. There was one called Drangsrong Gyenpa, who lived in a hermitage with the wealth of asceticism. After some time, not far from there, there was a large city. Robbers stole things from there and settled in the thick forest of that hermitage. Many messengers of the king came and said to the Drangsrong, "Have you seen any robbers?" He said that he had not seen them. Then the king's messengers searched in the thick forest and found the robbers, arrested them, and brought them, saying, "This Drangsrong is the one who hid them." They seized him and presented him to the king, and told him what had happened. The king was also angry and said, "This one is guilty." In order to nail him to a stake, he handed him over to the executioners. Those people took the Drangsrong to the execution ground, where they gathered sandalwood and other wood, but all of that wood fled and disappeared. Then they brought palm wood, but it did not flee. Then those executioners erected the stake and nailed the Drangsrong to it. After some time, leaves grew from that tree, and those leaves also pierced and grew from under the body of that Drangsrong. The king also came there and thought, "This Drangsrong is without fault." He took him down from that stake. He also went to Dharma in anger and said, "Because you are not Dharma, I have suffered for a long time, and you have done something very unreasonable. Please understand this well. What unreasonable thing have I done?" Dharma said, "This is certainly your own fault, because you

In other places, bees are pierced from the lower part of their bodies with shoots of grass and trees, pulled out from the tip of their beaks, and thrown upwards, and it is said that this is how they become fruits. That sage became angry and blamed me, thinking, 'I will curse the Dharma.' Because I have been greatly harmed by being a Brahmin sage, may you become a yaksha! Because you do not understand all my actions, may you become an outcaste! Because you have treated me in a way that is not like a holy person, may you be born as a dog!' Due to this curse of the sage, the Dharma descended upon Jambudvipa. Among them, the outcaste was born as a brother of the protector of the country of Vidura. In the monastery called 'Desire Holder,' near the abode of the sage's root point, he was born as a yaksha. The dog is mentioned here incidentally. Then, he was reborn as a god. Therefore, merely reciting the names of those sons of Kyaseng will also accumulate great merit, so ordinary people say, and so it is heard in the world. That is to say: Wise people, merely remembering the names of Kyaseng and others will undoubtedly possess great merit. That is what they say. The so-called 'recitation' refers to universally reciting, remembering the name, and telling stories related to it. What is recited? 'Son of Kyaseng' is mentioned, because he is the son of King Kyaseng, so he is the son of Kyaseng, such as being steadfast on the battlefield, and so on. 'Merit increases' means that merit and so on will increase, which is a broad statement. Is it reciting all, or reciting each one? 'Each' is mentioned, meaning each one. 'Who should not go and goes,' refers to the wife of a brother who should not be fornicated with, and fornication with her is a great defamation of your teachings, so those are those who should not go and fornicate. The so-called 'Exhauster, Independent, Near Independent,' and so on. The Exhauster is the son of the Pleiades. Independent is Indra.
