Offering the sacred offerings! May the Buddha's teachings flourish, may great auspiciousness arise in the world, may all obstacles and hindrances of us, teachers, disciples, and retinue, be pacified, and may all favorable conditions be fulfilled as desired.' Thus recite. Then, as in the practice of the Four-Faced Mahakala, recite 'Om Ah Hum Ha Ho Hrih,' and bless with the mudra three times, remembering: To the right of Mahakala is a lotus and sun disc, and above the corpse, from the syllable Hum arises a vajra kīla, marked with Hum, radiating light. Cutting through all fierce enemies and obstructors. Gathering and transforming into: The Great Black Vajra, with four faces and four arms, two legs. The root face is black and flesh-eating, the upper face is smoky with fiercely gnashing teeth. The two on the right and left are bluish-black. Each face has three eyes, gnashing teeth. The first right hand holds a curved knife, the first left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood at the heart, holding it up and down. The two right hands brandish a sword, the second left hand holds a rosary of bones. A vase filled with chang (Tibetan beer) is held in the armpit. Adorned with five dry skulls on the head, a necklace of fifty fresh ones. Adorned with six bone ornaments, with snakes and fresh intestines as threads. Wearing a tiger skin loincloth. The right leg is bent, the left leg is stretched out, seated on a corpse seat. With a fierce and terrifying demeanor. In the mouth, sounds of Ha Ha, Hum Hum, and Kshim Kshim are proclaimed. To his right is the black Yungmo, to his left is the green Tummo, in front is the reddish-black Sringmo, and behind is the yellowish-black Singali. All are naked, holding curved knives and skull cups. All five reside in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. On the foreheads of all of them is Om, on the throats is Ah, and on the hearts is Hum. In the center of the heart, from the Hum residing on the sun disc, light radiates, Inviting the glorious Four-Faced One with his retinue from Tise Cold Grove, Potala, Haha Roaring Cemetery, Darlung Nyan's Palace, Khau Rock Fortress, and the glorious Sakya Monastery. Vajra Samaja! With the five-pronged vajra mudra and the face seal, or holding a vajra bell, recite: 'Hum! In the past, before Vajradhara, fierce one, as you vowed, for the sake of the four activities, please come forth, to protect the Buddha's teachings, please descend! Om Maha Kala Chaturmukha Saparivara Ehy Ehi. Vajra Samaja! Jah Hum Bam Hoh! Padma Kamala Ya Satvam Om.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
