'May this consecrated object, along with all sentient beings led by myself and the patrons, become exceedingly auspicious through the substance of mustard seeds.' Saying this, the mustard seeds are given to the offering attendant. The offerings are placed around the master, disciples, and patrons. These verses are according to the oral tradition of Sakya All-Knowing. Seventh, offering to the consecrated object: The offerings are revitalized and blessings are gathered. Offerings are made with mantras, preceded by water for drinking and washing, along with the five desirable objects and music. Praise can be elaborated or condensed according to one's own understanding. If one wishes to make verses for the offering, it can be done according to the occasion. Then, prostrations and circumambulations are performed to the object as much as possible. As stated by Vajradhara and his sons, if one wishes to circumambulate, it can be done. Furthermore, if the patrons request consecration for monasteries and sanghas, all the masters hold flowers, musical instruments, umbrellas, banners, and various other inconceivable offerings. They circumambulate the outside of the sangha, playing music, reciting auspicious words, the Essence of Dependent Origination, and 'Supratistha,' while scattering flowers. Upon entering, they take their seats in order. Eighth, dedication of merit: All the masters hold flowers in their hands, and at the moment of 'May it be so,' they scatter flowers on the object and the patrons. First, everyone recites the seven branches, such as 'As many as...' Then, the master recites the dedication in detail, making the meaning clear; if one wishes to condense it, one can recite a condensed version that one knows. Here, I will recite a slightly condensed version of the clear intention of Jetsun Rinpoche, which is the same as the common aspiration. The patrons, with reverence, consecrate the sacred objects of the Three Jewels, etc. Through the power and strength of this root of virtue, may the precious teachings of the Buddha, the source of benefit and happiness, flourish and spread in all directions, times, and circumstances, and may they remain for a long time. May the intentions of the holy beings who uphold the teachings, who are inseparable from the master Vajradhara, and who demonstrate the state of being equally established in the realm of Dharma, be completely fulfilled from higher to higher. May the blessings of the wisdom gaze enter us and all sentient beings, led by the patrons. May the holy beings who uphold the teachings and are currently alive... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
