In the mandala, the nirmāṇakāya appears to ordinary beings, and in the mandala of the victorious ones' retinue, the saṃbhogakāya appears to the bodhisattvas, just as the image of the moon is seen in clear water, and the image of the moon is seen in the sky. Therefore, seeing these two bodies adorned with excellent marks is because there are two different types of beings to be tamed (144), and those who desire to manifest the rūpakāya should also possess pure fortune. This is the explanation of the chapter on qualities, the third chapter, from the treatise "Mahāyānottaratantraśāstra," which distinguishes the lineage of the Three Jewels. Now, based on the power of obtaining these qualities, from the perspective of the victorious ones' activities being spontaneously accomplished and never ceasing, there are two aspects to understanding the meaning of activities: explaining how spontaneous accomplishment is continuous, and ascertaining this through examples. There are two aspects to how spontaneous accomplishment is continuous: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The brief explanation is that when the Buddhas perform the benefit of sentient beings, although they directly know the infinite realms, intentions, habitual tendencies, and various dispositions of beings to be tamed, they do not engage in effortful conceptualization, thinking, "This and this should be known," but rather engage in spontaneous accomplishment. Similarly, in accordance with the individual intentions of the beings to be tamed, even though their nature is free from attachment and aversion, they show attachment to those with attachment, and they show wrathful forms according to the will of the beings to be tamed. Homage to the one who abides in the supreme state of enlightenment! As it is said, they do not exert effort in showing various methods of taming, such as peaceful and wrathful ones. Similarly, they do not exert (145) effort in placing the various realms of beings to be tamed in various benefits such as higher realms and definite goodness. They also do not exert effort in going to the infinite realms of the world where the beings to be tamed are. When the time for taming the beings to be tamed has come, the Buddhas, the all-pervading perfect Buddhas, do not exert any effort such as conceptualization in going to tame them, but rather engage in spontaneous accomplishment. This is the brief explanation of the meaning of spontaneous accomplishment.

This is the seat. The meaning of the uninterrupted lineage is briefly explained as follows: The cause of definite arising, such as dharani, samadhi, etc., possessing many collections of supreme and precious qualities; the great ocean filled with the water of immaculate wisdom, the ten bhumis of a Bodhisattva; and the cause of approximate manifestation, the accumulation of merit and wisdom, which ripens sentient beings, like the rays of the sun. Because this definitely accomplishes all the vehicles of action of beings, and arises from this, the cause is fully endowed; the deeds of the Buddhas are uninterrupted. Similarly, their result is perfect, without end or middle, and vast, so because of attaining great Bodhi that pervades like the sky, therefore their deeds are also uninterrupted. Even after attaining Bodhi, the ultimate Buddha himself, whose qualities such as power are naturally immaculate, like a treasure from the beginning, sees that all sentient beings exist without any difference, and therefore embraces them. The reason for embracing them is that: the Tathagatagarbha, which is like the sky, is obscured by adventitious defilements, the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, which are like a web of clouds, and therefore need to be removed. Also, the condition that removes those obscurations is the great compassion of the Buddhas, like a strong wind, which is able to scatter the clouds of defilements, and precisely because of this, the deeds of the Buddhas are uninterrupted. So it is said. In terms of
