Because the view of suchness of the foolish does not have eyes, it is not a direct realization as it is. For example, just as a blind person cannot directly see the sun's disk, which is pure, clear, and blazing with light. It is said. What is the way to grasp the meaning of emptiness to be realized? What is the nature of emptiness that is free from the two extremes? The Tathagatagarbha, which is completely pure by nature, the ultimate truth of suchness, has no faults of pervasive afflictions to be removed, because it is by nature free from all adventitious stains from the beginning. Similarly, there is nothing to be newly established as purified qualities, because the ultimate qualities such as powers are naturally accomplished from the beginning, and the nature of indivisibility is its nature. Thus, with the object free from the two extremes, the true realm of Dharma, suchness, as the object, the wisdom of the subject, the true knowledge of ultimate meaning, is directly observed and placed in equanimity, and from this, familiarity becomes extreme, and the wisdom that directly sees the meaning of the true nature of Dharma gradually arises, thereby obtaining liberation from the adventitious stains to be abandoned. That is, in the path of seeing, liberation from the stains to be abandoned by seeing, in the path of meditation, liberation from the stains to be abandoned by meditation, and in the ultimate path, complete liberation from the two obscurations together with their predispositions. Therefore, those conditioned, conventional dharmas that can be distinguished from the nature of Dharma, having the characteristic of being able to be separated, and adventitious stains that can be abandoned, because these purify the essence of the Tathagatagarbha, it is seen to be free from the extreme of existence. Those that cannot be distinguished from the nature of Dharma, having the characteristic of being inseparable, the ultimate, unsurpassed Buddha Dharma that cannot be abandoned, the infinite qualities such as the powers, because these are not the emptiness of the realm of Dharma, it is also free from the extreme of non-existence. Because they are mutually contradictory, they are also liberated from the extremes of both existence and non-existence.

. Therefore, having been liberated from the extremes of duality by preventing it, the way of emptiness, which is completely liberated from the two extremes or the four alternatives, is only this. That's it. To explain the necessity of these statements, there are two points: briefly explaining the necessity of the questions and answers, and explaining its meaning in detail. The question for the brief explanation is: For example, just like the form of clouds, which is unstable and without inherent existence; just like the appearance of dreams, which are enjoyed and experienced but without inherent existence; just like the illusory images that appear in various ways but without inherent existence; in the middle scriptures that teach non-characteristics, such as the extensive and intermediate versions of the Mother Sutra, it should be known that all phenomena from form to omniscience, although they appear, all aspects are completely empty and without inherent existence. After speaking extensively in this way, again in the scriptures that definitively determine the ultimate truth, such as the Tathagatagarbha Sutra and many others, the truth spoken by the victorious, perfect Buddhas is that all sentient beings have the essence of the Buddha, the realm of Dharma, which is naturally pure and luminous, and has been spontaneously established from the beginning (82). Why is it said like this? If it is said that it did not exist before, and here it is said that it does exist, isn't this a contradiction? The answer is: There is no fault of contradiction. Saying that it did not exist before is to prevent clinging to it as truly existent, and to show that there are no adventitious stains. And saying that it does exist here is to show that the realm of Dharma exists for the sake of five special necessities. It is explained that: If the Tathagatagarbha is not shown to exist, sentient beings, because they do not know that the true Buddha is in their own hearts, will become timid, thinking that someone like me cannot achieve Bodhi, and will not be happy to enter the path. This is the first fault. Because they do not know that it exists in others, they will think that these sentient beings are inferior, and thus despise them and do not respect them. This is the second fault. Because they do not know that it exists in themselves and others, they will think that true qualities and untrue, artificial, adventitious stains exist in phenomena that are not truly existent in their nature, and thus generate superimposition. This is the third fault. The true qualities and
