Furthermore, starting from the distinction between the suchness of ordinary beings, the suchness of noble ones, and the suchness of fully enlightened Buddhas, for those sentient beings who directly see the true reality, are suitable to be tamed by the omniscient one, and possess good fortune, this essence of the Tathagatas, the element of reality, which is naturally pure, is shown very clearly. So it is said. The way of gradual purification is: the childish ordinary people have perverse perceptions, minds, and views; while the noble ones who directly see the suchness, the nature of the four truths, are the opposite of that, their perceptions, minds, and views are not perverse and see correctly. (34) The Tathagata sees all things as they are, without perversion, and has destroyed the two obscurations along with their imprints, so it is the nature of non-proliferation. Thus, through the distinction of the three types of individuals as the basis, the dependent element of reality, the suchness, also transforms into three aspects. So it is said. From here on, the meaning of "entering" is explained in four ways, that is, explained in other ways. Regarding the meaning of mere names of states, there are three ways of naming in three situations, and three names encompassing six meanings. Among them, the way of naming three names is: the essence of the Tathagata, in the three states of not being purified from temporary stains, being purified from non-purity, and being completely purified, is referred to and indicated by the three different names of sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas, respectively, in the order. So it is said. The way of encompassing six meanings is: with words such as the meaning of essence, it encompasses the meaning of cause, the meaning of effect, the meaning of action, the meaning of possession, and the meaning of entering. These six meanings encompass the element of reality, which is naturally pure, as explained above in detail. In the three states of being impure, being purified from impurity, and being completely pure, it is merely named and indicated as different by the three names of sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas, but there is no difference whatsoever in the essence of the meaning. So it is said. Like the sky.

35) Regarding the meaning of pervasiveness, how non-discrimination pervades all, and the principle of non-differentiation in general characteristics. Among these, regarding the principle of pervasiveness: For example, just as the sky, which is non-discriminating and without obscuration, pervades and follows all material forms without differentiation, similarly, the luminous nature of mind, the Dharma-dhatu, which is primordially without defilement, also pervades all states of beings without differentiation. So it is said. Regarding the principle of non-differentiation: The Dharma-dhatu, which is naturally pure, is the general characteristic or Dharma-nature of all phenomena. Therefore, it equally follows and pervades all states of ordinary beings with faults, Bodhisattvas with qualities, and Tathagatas with ultimate qualities. For example, just as the sky follows and pervades all vessels, whether they are inferior earthen vessels, intermediate copper vessels, or superior golden vessels. So it is said. Regarding the meaning of unchanging at all times, the state of immutability is shown, and its principle is explained in detail. Among these, regarding showing the state: Is the Dharma-dhatu mutable because it previously had faults and later acquired qualities? It is not so. In the previous impure state, faults such as afflictions are removable and temporary, not existing as the nature (36). In the later pure state, qualities such as powers are manifest, but they are inherent from the beginning, not arising temporarily. Therefore, just as it was in the realm of samsara, so it remains in nirvana, never changing. This is the Dharma-nature or nature of this Dharma-dhatu. So it is said. The detailed explanation is threefold: the principle of not changing even in the state of obscuration, the principle of not changing even in the state of impurity and purity, and the principle of not changing even in the state of complete purity. First, the principle of not changing like the sky, and the explanation of their differences. Regarding the principle of not changing, there is a brief statement, a detailed explanation,
