If you experience something like half-manifestation and half-emptiness, or emptiness and manifestation, where manifestation and the one who manifests are inseparable, and manifestation-emptiness appears nakedly, that is seeing the innate face of manifestation. For example, in a dream, various manifestations such as the environment and beings appear, but merely appearing, they are not different from the dream's awareness itself. Similarly, no matter what kind of manifestation appears now, it is one's own mind's emptiness. Until the power of meditation ceases and common karma is not purified, it merely appears as such a manifestation. (443) Merely appearing, it is not different from the nature of one's own mind's emptiness. As Je Glingre said, "The mind itself, free from foundation, the three dreams dreamed last night, is a teacher who introduces manifestation as mind, do you understand?" It is like that. By the reasoning of visual appearance, one can also infer other appearances of the six aggregates, such as sound appearance. As Nagarjuna said, "Whoever sees the Suchness of one thing, also sees the Suchness of all things." However, it is said that the complete blending of manifestation and mind occurs during the great single-taste meditation. Here, only the inseparability of manifestation and mind at this time is discussed. At this time, whatever appears, remaining freely as it appears, without calculation or grasping, is calm abiding (shamatha); that very thing, the realization or certainty that cuts through the imputation of the inseparability of manifestation and emptiness, is insight (vipashyana); (444) experiencing that manifestation is the nature of emptiness and emptiness is the aspect of manifestation, the two being inseparable, is the union of calm abiding and insight (shamatha-vipashyana). Based on such experience and realization, the Dagpo Kagyu tradition asserts that whatever appears is the Dharmakaya, and existence and samsara are the realization teachings and terms of the Dharmakaya. The way this is taught in the Sutras, Tantras, and pith instructions is as follows: In the Heart Sutra, it says, "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form. Form is not other than emptiness, emptiness is not other than form." And in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it says, "Form is not other, and the Suchness of form is not other. Therefore, form and the Suchness of form are non-dual and inseparable, neither different nor the same." And in the King of Samadhis Sutra, which extensively elaborates on the equality of the nature of all phenomena, it says, "Form also shows enlightenment (445)." etc.

Form and enlightenment are equal; no difference is found there. And, all dharmas are equal to nirvana in their very nature. And, in their commentary, Manjushri says: The nature of form is enlightenment; enlightenment itself is also form. And, sound and nirvana are non-dual and indistinguishable. And, in the Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: Do not view form as other, nor the essence of form as other. The essence of form is also other, and the Tathagata is also other; do not view it that way. And so on. In the Two Examinations: Whatever is stable and moving, roots, vines, and so on, from the nature of my own entity, one should definitely meditate on the thusness of the holy. They are not one holy thing; it is self-awareness, great bliss. (446) And, in the Gur, it says: All the various appearances of form, etc., are only appearances of mind itself. And, in the Samti, it says: Seeing all forms, and hearing all sounds, speaking and laughing, and experiencing various things, when doing all actions, the mind does not wander elsewhere; therefore, the yogi with awareness, yoga will always arise. This is the supreme bodhicitta, Vajra (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra, Chinese literal meaning: diamond), Vajra (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra, Chinese literal meaning: diamond) Sattva auspicious, perfect complete enlightenment bodhi. And, in the Inconceivable Co-emergent Tantra, it says: Mind itself, co-emergent, is the dharmakaya; appearance, co-emergent, is the light of the dharmakaya; therefore, appearance and mind are inseparable, co-emergent. And, the Great Brahmin says: Earth, water, fire, wind, and space, there is nothing other than the taste of co-emergence itself. Not distinguishing between existence and nirvana (447) as two; therefore, it is said that this is the reality of the dharmadhatu. And, Shavara says: All appearances and sounds are illusions and mirages, like reflections, without things or characteristics. The mind that appears as illusion is like space, without edge or center, unknowable by anyone. And, Birwapa says: All dualistic characteristics such as pleasure and pain are the play of the original great seal of dharmata. And, Tailopa says: Aggregates, elements, and sense bases,
