Because there are extremely subtle differences in whether or not appearances arise in connection, whether or not one has mastered conventional truth, whether or not one knows how to plant the seeds of the form body, and so on. During meditation, the Heshang (Chinese Chan monk) advocates not thinking about or doing anything at all. But here, even when establishing the initial abiding, one must rely on mindfulness that does not stray from the object of focus and clear awareness that discerns dullness and agitation. The Heshang simply sits without thinking, not contemplating any faults or virtues. But here, such thoughtless blankness is considered a fault. The Heshang does not engage in any conceptual analysis during meditation, but here, one must contemplate and analyze the meaning of meditation with discriminating wisdom. The Heshang abides in an indeterminate state of mind, devoid of mindfulness and awareness, but here, one must not stray even for a moment from mindfulness and awareness of each aspect of meditation. The Heshang thinks that it is sufficient to simply not think about anything, but here, such states are considered deviations and losses, and one must eliminate their faults. (193) Regarding view, the Heshang does not accept wisdom arising from thought or wisdom arising from meditation, but here, one must rely on these two types of wisdom to seek the view of reality and realize it. The Heshang is devoid of the view of realizing suchness, but here, one must cut off the root of all grasping and apprehended objects and cultivate the view of knowing their reality. Regarding the result, the Heshang believes that liberation is attained simply by becoming accustomed to not thinking about anything, but here, it is believed that even after realizing suchness, one must practice in a way that does not stray from it, so that even the subtlest appearances of duality are completely purified. Therefore, one should not speak falsely and slander the true meaning out of jealousy, because this will lead those who trust you to engage in the act of abandoning the Dharma. (194) According to your system, our Mahamudra is: the wisdom arising from empowerment, and the self-arisen wisdom arising from the samadhi of the two stages. If you think so, then consider that by relying on the practice of the samadhi of the two stages, generally, the four mudras

Me, although it is said that when the realization of the uncommon reality Mahamudra arises, one will not be seized by demons, it is extremely unreasonable to consider the experience of the bliss of the leaking bliss body consciousness wheel arising from reliance on the third empowerment, enhanced by emptiness, to be Mahamudra. Because Indrabodhi said: 'The bliss arising from the two roots is that, the evil beings speak thus, that is the great bliss, the Victorious One has never said so.' 'The pleasure arising from dependent origination, nowhere can it be known, therefore that pleasure in all, by nature is not really there.' 'The wisdom of all Tathagatas, the self-nature knower of self-nature, is the most excellent of all pleasures, therefore it is said to be great pleasure.' 'Great pleasure is not impermanent, great pleasure is always constant.' And so on, because of many refutations, and also because it contradicts the unchanging bliss of Mahamudra spoken of in the Kalachakra, because it is the feeling of leaking bliss with change. It is even more unreasonable to enhance it with analytical emptiness, because the Kalachakra says: 'The emptiness of analyzing the aggregates, like a water tree, has no essence, the most excellent of all aspects, emptiness is not transformed in this way.' Also, in the Kalachakra Wisdom Chapter, when the unchanging wisdom is accomplished, it says: 'Far from the emptiness of analyzing the nature of the collection of atoms, the emptiness of annihilation.' Because the emptiness of analyzing the aggregates is said to be the emptiness of annihilation. Furthermore, in your system, it is also extremely unreasonable to introduce the example wisdom of the third empowerment as a leaking bliss changing one, and to introduce the meaning wisdom of the fourth empowerment as a nihilistic emptiness named free from elaboration. Because this would become an admission of the previous view refuted by both the Kalachakra and the Accomplishment of Wisdom, and also the wisdom of example and meaning needs to be of the same kind of cause and effect and related, but it seems to be introduced as two unrelated and different kinds.
