Because you seem to lack a definite understanding of wisdom, it will turn into ignorance or an uninstructed mind. Some ancient scholars consider it unreasonable to view the continuum of definite knowledge, which has not found any objects of grasping and being grasped through reasoning based on the three modes of proof, as a view. Regarding such a view, Je Gampopa said that it is a term for the unborn, because it is an ephemeral emptiness fabricated by conceptual thought based on inference. The Compendium of Valid Cognition states: "Whoever leads to the nature of reality through the path of sophistry, that is the destruction of the Sage's teaching, and also the destruction of political affairs." Jowo Je also said: "Through the gate of two knowledges, direct perception and subsequent inference, emptiness will be seen. To say that is to see the other shore is the delusion of fools." Because it is said that way. Furthermore, some ancient people consider it unreasonable to view the emptiness that completely separates the self and the aggregates, based on the reasoning of Madhyamaka, as a non-affirming negation. Because it slightly falls into the extreme of nihilism, and the Kalachakra Tantra says that it cannot become the emptiness that possesses all perfections. Furthermore, some (141) believe that after obtaining an undeluded view that is free from all extremes through scripture, reason, or pith instructions, they maintain the mind in that state of non-proliferation as view and meditation. And when the mind is placed in equipoise on that, the experience of clear, pure, and unpolluted union of awareness and emptiness arises, and they consider that to be the non-conceptual wisdom of reality. Others say that it is also unreasonable to do so while cursing the meditation of Hwashang and taking it as one's own experience. However, if the view and the method of placement are in accordance with the treatises of the accomplished ones, then the experience of clear channels and elements cannot become the non-conceptual wisdom of reality. Because the awareness that has not separated from the moisture of experience, no matter how good it is, cannot transcend the appearance of any object of grasping and being grasped that arises from conditions. Furthermore, some scholars, after refuting all other views, consider it not good to have no acceptance of their own system, because that (142) is said to be a view of evil deception. And although they hold to Madhyamaka, they do not accept the meaning of its treatises. And it seems to be merely a deceptive means that lacks definite understanding of that very reality. Furthermore, some have determined through scripture and reason

If one has not attained the view of selflessness, but abides without conceptually engaging with anything, without thinking about anything at all, then one will be practicing the meaning of reality. Because the emptiness of reality is free from all grasping, the way of abiding should also be like that, some people think. Others say that this is similar to the meditation of the Heshang and will lead to the extreme of nihilism, and they refute it. However, even if the practice is not mistaken, one may not be skilled in explaining it. If we examine this, if one recognizes the flaw of non-establishment in that nothing is established, and understands the key point that the emptiness of reality is free from all grasping, then it is not that one has not attained the view. If one does not understand or realize anything, but merely focuses on one's own non-conceptualization, even if one abides in that way, if the mind has the awareness that distinguishes and examines with discriminating wisdom, and the mindfulness that does not let the mind wander elsewhere, then although it is not the way to cultivate the view that cuts through the superimpositions on reality, it seems to be only the way to cultivate shamatha and vipashyana for beginners, so it becomes consistent with the way to cultivate the view. If that is not the case, but there is only the presence of both mindfulness and awareness in that non-conceptual state, then it will become the way to cultivate non-conceptual shamatha. If it is accompanied by a thick state of dullness and sinking without clear mindfulness and awareness, then it is a flawed state called empty non-conceptualization. Some others say that although it is necessary to attain the view established by scripture and reasoning, after attaining it, all that one abides in without conceptually engaging with anything is practicing the view. Others say that if that is the case, then falling into a deep sleep, practicing mere shamatha, and all states of non-conceptualization will become practicing the view, and they refute it. If we examine this, (144) it seems necessary to distinguish whether or not it becomes practicing the view by whether or not there is mindfulness and awareness accompanied by the certainty of the view in that way of abiding without conceptualization. The rest is the same as above. Some others say that after attaining the view, if one first examines it once with discriminating wisdom, then all that one abides in without conceptualization afterwards is considered practicing the view. Others say that after examining it once with discriminating wisdom, then falling into a deep sleep, etc., they refute it as above. If we examine this, if one abides in that way
