To arrive at that (state) is the correct view. As stated in the "Unwavering Nature of Dharma Sutra": "All dharmas are unborn by nature, do not abide by essence, are separated from all ends of actions and deeds, and transcend the realm of thought and non-thought." Also, as stated in the "Compendium": "When one fully understands that all dharmas are without inherent existence, this is the supreme practice of prajnaparamita." And: "Not thinking of either birth or non-birth, this is the supreme practice of prajnaparamita." Also, as stated in the "Sutra Showing the Indivisible Nature of the Dharmadhatu": "The mind is not form, cannot be pointed out, is without appearance, is without obstruction, is not a discriminator (117). It does not abide within, does not abide without, and does not abide between the two. It is completely pure and completely unestablished. There is no liberation in it, for it is the nature of the dharmadhatu." Also, as stated in the "Praise to the Mother": "Beyond speech, thought, and expression is prajnaparamita." And so on. Also, as stated in the "Root Wisdom": "There is no abandoning, no attaining, no cessation, no permanence, no annihilation, no arising; that is said to be nirvana." Also, as stated by Jowo Je (Atisha): "Profound and free from elaboration, that is the very nature. The clear light, uncompounded, whatever it is. Unborn, unceasing, primordially pure. The self-nature of nirvana. The dharmadhatu, without beginning or end. With a subtle eye of wisdom, constantly free from (extremes such as permanence and annihilation). Without sinking or rising, and without confusion, look." And: "Aggregates, elements, and sense bases, when realized as unborn, knowing the self-nature of emptiness, that is fully explained as wisdom." And so on. Secondly, in general, not straying from the state of view (118) to elsewhere is meditation. That is, as explained above, the view, without losing that state of mindfulness and awareness, abandoning all thoughts of objects and mental activity other than that, without any fabrication, addition, subtraction, or speculation, abiding in the natural state in a way that does not meditate on anything. As stated in the "Samadhi Like Space Sutra": "With the nectar of the noble lama, know your own mind to be like space. Not straying from its meaning, that is taught as samadhi." Also, as stated in the "Supreme Samadhi Sutra": "The nature of reality as it is, placing the mind as it is, without establishing names, experiential realization arises."

This is called Samadhi. By placing the mind on the inconceivable Dharmata in such a way, unbiased experiences arise. This is called Samadhi. And, in the "Seven Hundred Prajñāpāramitā": "That which has no taking, holding, or abandoning of any dharma is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā (119)." "That which does not focus on any mind is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā." And, in the "Eight Thousand Verses": "The practice of Prajñāpāramitā is not practicing any dharma." And, "The practice of Prajñāpāramitā is the practice of space." And, "Space is without conceptualization, and Prajñāpāramitā is also without conceptualization." And, in the "Akashagarbha Sutra" and by Maitreya: "In this, there is nothing to be removed, Nor is there anything to be established. Look at reality as it is, Seeing reality, one is liberated." And, in the "Avatamsaka Sutra": "Whoever wishes to enter the realm of the Buddhas Should purify their mind like the sky. Abandoning thoughts, various thoughts, and clinging to perceptions, Enter this realm with a mind like the sky." And, in the "Ornament of the Sutras": "Having placed the mind on the root of the Dharmadhatu, (120) Remembering only thoughts, with stable awareness, One quickly crosses to the other shore of the ocean of qualities." And, in the "Explanation of Bodhicitta": "The mind free from objects, Abiding in the nature of space, Practicing space, Is considered practicing emptiness." And, Atiśa said: "In the Dharmadhatu free from elaboration, One should also place wisdom free from elaboration." Thus. Many teachings of great siddhas similar to these explanations will be explained in the chapter on Mahamudra. Third, when all subsequent appearances arise other than in meditative equipoise, having been seized by the power of the memory or force of the previously meditated-upon sky-like meditative equipoise, all appearances, although not established in reality, appear clearly as they are, which is called subsequent illusion-like. As it says in the "Compendium Sutra": "Whoever knows the five aggregates as illusion, Does not make illusion into something else, nor the five aggregates into something else, Separated from various (121) thoughts, acting peacefully, That one
