The wisdom that focuses on the Dharma, and the one that completely distinguishes, refers to the wisdom that discerns the gross meanings of suchness and allness by clinging to characteristics in conjunction with conceptualization. And the one that completely examines refers to the wisdom that correctly discerns the subtle meanings of suchness and allness. Furthermore, in the Śrāvakabhūmi, six types of vipassanā are taught, and it is said that all vipassanā are included by them. These six types are (95): seeking meaning, entity, characteristic, direction, time, and reasoning. Their meaning seems to be the way of seeking vipassanā that arises from complete seeking. Also, in the *Ornament of the Sūtras*, it says: "The mind's expression constantly turns, The object to be sought should be examined separately, The mind's attention is without expression, It should also be examined with one taste." In the commentary on this, Master Vasubandhu says: "These four verses show eleven types of attention, namely, attention with conceptualization and examination, attention without conceptualization but only with examination, attention without conceptualization and without examination, attention of śamatha, attention of vipassanā, attention of union, attention of the cause of imputation, attention of the cause of śamatha, attention of the cause of equanimity, attention of constant action, and attention of reverence." Thus, eleven aspects of vipassanā (96) are taught, which seem to be: the former are seeking views, the middle ones are meditating on views, and the latter are the classification of vipassanā that is diligent in views. In short, in the sūtras and the stages of meditation, by the example of fire arising from rubbing two sticks together, it is explained that at the stage of applying vipassanā, the wisdom of distinguishing and examining is necessary. Finally, by the example of that fire burning the wood, and both the fire and the wood becoming extinguished, it is explained that at the time of the actual vipassanā, there is no object of focus such as distinguishing and examining. Lord Atiśa's Madhyamaka instructions also say the same, so in the stages of meditation of vipassanā, it is crucial to generate the view. Secondly, there are two parts: the categories of ways to establish the view, and the way to establish the view that is relevant to the present context. The first is the Five Treatises of Maitreya and the Asanga brothers.

According to some views, when seeking insight, the reasoning that the object of grasping (97) does not exist, such as things appearing as many instead of one, and the certainty that accompanies it, is the reasoning of the Mind-Only school. If the object of grasping does not exist, then the mind that grasps also does not exist, which belongs to the "non-arising from non-existence" or the reasoning of the Middle Way school. After these two reasonings establish the grasped and the grasper, they consider the actual view to be the wisdom of non-duality of the grasped and the grasper. According to Nagarjuna and his son, when the Svatantrika Madhyamikas seek insight, they examine and analyze all phenomena of the grasped and the grasper with the reasoning of one or many, and find that they cannot be established or found anywhere else. They acknowledge a non-conceptual wisdom that does not fixate on any object, and regard this as the actual view, giving it the name "self-aware wisdom of each individual." According to the Prasangika Madhyamikas, when seeking insight, they analyze (98) the nature, cause, and effect of all objects of experience, including the root of samsara—the innate ignorance of grasping at self and what belongs to self—with reasoning such as one or many, thereby establishing emptiness and eliminating the extreme of existence. They establish appearance through the reasoning of dependent origination, thereby eliminating the extreme of non-existence. They seem to consider the actual view to be the union of appearance and emptiness, free from the two extremes of existence and non-existence. Many Tibetan and Chinese masters of secret instructions identify all phenomena of the grasped and the grasper as their own mind, and establish the mind as the emptiness of its own nature, free from all characteristics such as existence, non-existence, arising, and ceasing. Finally, they establish the nature of all phenomena as the dharmadhatu, free from elaboration, and observe it, and so on. There are various ways of explaining it. But here, I will briefly explain the Vipassana meditation method that is widely known in all schools. Second, it is divided into two: a general explanation of the method of meditating on selflessness and a specific explanation of the method of meditating on the view. The first is divided into three: the reason for meditating on selflessness, the method of meditating on the two selflessnesses (99), and the method of generating the view from it. First, one must first identify the self and the grasping at self, because the root of samsara lies in innate ignorance, which fabricates the existence of inherent existence in any phenomenon, even though there is no inherent existence, and thus clings to the inherent existence of each phenomenon and person.
