Although appearing in various ways, realizing the nature as one is the yoga of many as one. Uninterruptedly realizing the inseparability of appearance and emptiness is the great equanimity. This is a brief summary. Furthermore, if we summarize the meaning of the various classifications that are extensively taught, one-pointedness is: the mind abiding, the awareness of movement merging into one, clear and empty like the sky, in a state without beginning or end, abiding in a state of salé singé yeré. Jjé Phagdru said: When one-pointedness arises in the continuum for the first time, there is singé yeré that transcends words, clear like the sky and without substance. Jjé Zhang said: When one-pointed yoga arises, one realizes the nature of one's own mind, like the center of a pure sky, clear and empty, unobstructed, without beginning or end, abiding in a state of singé yeré, that is the equanimity of the first yoga. Thus it is. Freedom from elaboration is: liberation from the elaborations of the apprehended and the apprehender, or the three arising, abiding, and ceasing of all inner and outer phenomena, and the clinging to characteristics, cutting off all imputation of non-arising emptiness. Jjé Phagdru said: Thereafter, freedom from elaboration will arise, the holy ones said that is seeing the essence. The essence, freedom from elaboration, is the realm of phenomena of all samsara and nirvana, realization and non-realization are both buddhas and sentient beings. Even if explained, the essence is only freedom from elaboration, free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, separated from arising, ceasing, and elaboration, without the duality of acceptance and rejection, all inner and outer phenomena are free from the extremes of elaboration, it is the middle way. Jjé Zhang said: When freedom from elaboration yoga arises, one realizes the essence of one's own mind, awareness is free from elaboration, uninterrupted, without arising, ceasing, acceptance, or rejection, one's own mind abides in the dharmakaya, that is the equanimity of the second yoga. Thus it is. One taste is: for all phenomena of existence (673), samsara and nirvana, without the elaboration of arising and ceasing, without separation or non-separation, emptiness or non-emptiness, etc., without affirmation or negation, acceptance or rejection, transforming into equanimity in the original state. Jjé Phagdru said: By meditating on this, the many will appear as one taste, appearance and non-appearance, various, mind and emptiness, emptiness and non-emptiness, one taste inseparable is emptiness, realization and non-realization, one taste without equality or sequence, meditation and non-meditation, one taste is the state of purity, freedom from elaboration, freedom from elaboration, one taste is the realm of phenomena.

Etc. Je Zhang said: When the one-taste yoga arises, realize the nature of one's own mind. Realize that one's own mind is the dharmakaya free from elaboration, appearing as many phenomena of samsara and nirvana. Discrimination and non-discrimination, appearance and non-appearance, existence and non-existence, emptiness and non-emptiness, clarity and non-clarity, all kinds of things, become one taste with the clear light dharmakaya. So it is said. Non-meditation is: all the defilements of previous experiences (674) and experiences are purified, the realization of the path and the reality of one's own nature are integrated, becoming a state without meditation and distraction. Je Phagdru said: By becoming accustomed to this, perfect realization is ultimately manifested, awareness becomes naked in a single, unconditioned state. This awareness, free from elaboration, becomes meditation. Since there is no object of meditation or meditator to be found inside or outside, the consciousness of the object of meditation dissolves into the clear light. It is the nature beyond meditation and mind. Etc. Je Zhang said: When non-meditation yoga arises, the nature of awareness is free from dependence. Yogis have nothing to meditate on. There is no meditator, it becomes idle. The Buddha, complete with the three bodies and five wisdoms, says that he himself is complete. Be sure to know that this is yourself. Etc. So it is said. Regarding the recognition of the four yogas, there seem to be many instructions from the Kagyu lineage, but most of them seem to have similar views, so I will not elaborate. Second, the difference of realization (675), the scope of experience, the way of arising of subsequent wisdom, the defilements to be purified, the way of purifying after attainment, the difference between meditation and after attainment, the division of time, and the explanation of other differences, etc., in eight aspects. The first is: Je Gomchung said: At the time of one-pointedness, realize the essence; at the time of freedom from elaboration, realize the nature; at the time of one taste, realize the characteristics; the realization of non-meditation has no scope. So it is said. In general, the classification of the three aspects of mind, namely essence, nature, and characteristics, should be understood as explained earlier. Here, at the time of one-pointedness, the mind is clear in non-discrimination, without clinging, and is determined in experience, giving rise to certainty, which is the realization of the essence of mind. At the time of freedom from elaboration, the mind is free from the three aspects of arising, dwelling, and ceasing, and in the unconditioned dharma, there is no self-nature, and awareness is the realization of the nature of mind. At the time of one taste, the mind itself appears as various images of habitual tendencies, all of which are unborn.
