Thinking that inconceivable miracles have occurred and greatly increasing fear, practice as before. Fourth, in the assembly teachings of Lord Gampopa, it is said that viewing the suffering of samsara as kindness, taking the nature of suffering as unborn, and cultivating loving-kindness and bodhicitta based on suffering are mostly in agreement. Here, if it is expressed in accordance with the common path, in general, the three sufferings of samsara oppress all beings, both self and others. In particular, in one's own sensory experience, seeing other beings kill, cut, and exploit each other, causing suffering, or even if not oppressed by others, being seized by various unbearable sufferings due to one's own karma, or hearing about these, if one does not generate compassion for those beings, and also fears that one may become like that due to karma and afflictions, a sharp pain will arise in the mind. To pacify and liberate such karma and afflictions, one is willing to practice the path, which is the mind of the Lesser Vehicle. Recognizing those suffering beings as one's kind parents, one generates great compassion, and from that, generates loving-kindness for all beings, which is the mind of the Great Vehicle. Whichever of these minds arises, when that mind arises clearly in one's own mind with pain, recognize it and integrate it into the path as before. Finally, without losing the experience of virtuous practice, generate the bodhicitta that universally arouses loving-kindness and compassion for all beings, and make good aspirations to benefit others. This is highly praised, as Nagarjuna said: 'If oneself and this world wish to attain unsurpassed bodhi, its root, bodhicitta, is as stable as the king of mountains, and compassion that reaches all directions, and wisdom that does not rely on the two.' In this context, while the intensity of compassion, unable to bear the suffering of sentient beings, has not ceased, the understanding that its essence or nature is emptiness, without any inherent existence, is the union of emptiness and compassion, or it is considered the bodhicitta with the essence of emptiness and compassion, and this is

This is the essence of the Mahayana path. In the "Examination of the Two Truths Sutra," it says, "Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, it is called Bodhicitta, thus it is said." In the "Guhya Sutra," it says, "Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, wherever the mind is well cultivated, that is the teaching of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha." In the "Samputika Sutra," it says, "The nature of non-elaboration is known as wisdom. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings, this is compassion." The great Brahmin said, "Whoever enters emptiness devoid of compassion, he will not attain the supreme path. However, even if one only cultivates compassion, one will remain in samsara and not attain liberation. Whoever is able to combine the two, will not abide in samsara, nor will he abide in nirvana." Shawa Ra said, "From the state of unattached self-conduct of realization, when the suffering of ignorant beings becomes apparent, tears of unbearable compassion arise, abandoning oneself to benefit others." Thus it is. Fifth, in general, the cause of disease is karma and afflictions arising from ignorance, and the condition is that all diseases initially arise from the reversal of the flow of karma-wind, which causes the four elements to be disturbed and the elements to be imbalanced, (647) the result is the occurrence of pain such as feelings and illnesses in the body and mind. If diseases are classified, there are four types: wind diseases, bile diseases, phlegm diseases, and mixed diseases, totaling four hundred and four. Regarding the methods of treating diseases, there are many discussions in medicine. But here, to cure the cause of disease, because the cause is caused by ignorance, cultivating wisdom and awareness is the most profound. To eliminate the condition of disease, because the condition is caused by the disturbance of karma-wind, therefore, to restore it to its original purity, the key to the operation of wind and mind is the same, not correcting the mind, cultivating the original is the most profound. To destroy the result of disease, because the result is the feeling of suffering, therefore, to transform it into tasteless and unreal, cultivating the emptiness of reality is the most profound. Therefore, no matter what kind of disease, whether it is a new disease or an old disease, in order to pacify it, it is considered more profound to bring it into the inner path than to rely on other methods. Regarding the application of the path, Je Gampopa said, "First, make the disease worse," that is, to make the pain of the disease even greater and more unbearable than before.
