If so, one will be born in the formless realm, or fall into the cessation of the Hearer. Those who say this do not understand the meaning, and run around and speak like rabbits. If one examines where it is said from, it seems to be based on what is said in the "Glorious Wisdom Accomplishment": "Yogis who meditate with ignorance will attain extreme ignorance." Even those who are well-versed in the "Wisdom Accomplishment" do not have a consistent view on what the ignorance and extreme ignorance refer to. How do you, who see it once in a while, interpret the meaning according to your own wishes? Therefore, without any reason, you think that this meditation with unclear consciousness will lead to rebirth as animals, which is just speculation. If so, then the cessation attainment, the non-perception attainment, and the neither-perception-nor-non-perception attainment will also become the cause of animals, because they are all meditations with unclear consciousness. If you admit it, then you have exposed your ignorance of the karmic differences of unwavering actions, because you say that these three samadhis are the cause of bad migrations. Furthermore, practicing asceticism will become the cause of pretas, and meditating on tummo will become the cause of hot hells, which is the same. In this way, you arbitrarily set the relationship between karma and result, but you are ashamed of those who cherish the instructions of the wise and accomplished predecessors, which is amazing. From the past to the present, all the well-known and unknown holy beings, as numerous as the dust of the earth, you contemptuously say that they have not heard or thought, and accumulate such sins that will surely lead to falling into bad migrations, which is not a statement of being proficient in karma and result. In short, it is like the saying: "Panditas cut off additions from the outside, and yogis cut off additions from the inside." The former is in accordance with what is said in the "Pramāṇavārttika": "Without refuting this object, one cannot abandon it." The latter is in accordance with what is said in the "Doha": "What is in the house, go out and look for it, see the householder but ask about the decorations of the house. Saying with an arrow pressed (against yourself), know yourself."

Alas! May the foolish mind itself be liberated from conceptualization and evil views. As it is said, therefore, one should be skilled in distinguishing the nature of the path. They should identify the extremes or elaborations to be abandoned and explain the method of cutting them off. Among these, there are two well-known methods: cutting off elaborations through reasoning and cutting off elaborations through relaxation. It seems that the method of cutting off through reasoning is common to both Sutra and Tantra. As it is said in the Sutra: "O Light-Protected One, the view of a person as large as Mount Meru is not the same as the view of emptiness." And in the Mother Sutra: "If one practices the name 'form is emptiness,' one is practicing signs." And so on, it can be applied to all aspects of omniscience. Kamalashila, in the Stages of Meditation, quotes the Sutra: "O Light-Protected One, it is like two pieces of wood rubbed together to produce fire. After the fire is produced, it burns the two pieces of wood. Similarly, O Light-Protected One, if there is proper individual examination, the power of noble wisdom will arise. Once it arises, it will burn that very proper individual examination." So it is said. The Guhyasamaja Tantra says: "Without objects, there is no meditation. Meditation is not meditation itself. Thus, objects become non-objects. Meditation is without an object." And the Shri Chakrasamvara Tantra says: "One should not meditate on emptiness, nor should one meditate on non-emptiness. Emptiness is abandoned by the renunciate yogi. One should not completely abandon non-emptiness. From grasping emptiness and non-emptiness, non-small conceptualizations will arise." So it is said. Similarly, the Immaculate Light and the Essence of Wisdom, Collected from All, agree: "Not existent, not non-existent, not existent and not non-existent, nor the nature of both. This is the path of liberation from the four extremes. This is what the Madhyamika knows." And again, the Immaculate Light says: "In order to diminish all attachments to the side of yogis, the Vajra Yoga is without distinction, abandoning permanence and annihilation, transcending worldly examples, completely abandoning the thought of existence and non-existence, like wiping the dust off a young woman's mirror, directly seeing what has not been examined by one's own mind, having a credible meaning, all aspects.

Everything arises from space, the all-good great empowerment, the nature of all sentient beings abides in coemergent joy, in this analogy without reason or example, things with and without substance become one, because the dharmas are different. For example, the worldly vase and the dharma are different, so the flower of the sky is non-existent by all non-existence. Likewise, the flower of the sky and the dharma are different, so the vase exists by all existence. Therefore, these two become analogies because their dharmas are mutually different. Similarly, annihilation and the dharma are different, so existence exists by all existence. Existence and the dharma are different, so annihilation is non-existent by all non-existence. The sound of annihilation refers to the nature of nirvana without substance. Likewise, in the analogy beyond the world, the vase and the flower of the sky become one, because the dharmas are different. These vases and flowers of the sky are not one in worldly convention, because they contradict each other. Whatever exists by what, that will not become non-existent, and whatever does not exist, that will not become existent, because of the nature of substance and non-substance. Whatever becomes mind by the nature of existence, that will not become the nature of non-existence. Whatever becomes mind by the nature of non-existence, that will not become the nature of existence, because they contradict each other. Here also, the nature of emptiness and compassion, like the pure mind reflected on a mirror by a young girl, is not the nature of form, because there is no subtle dust. It is not the nature of formlessness, because it exists in emptiness. Therefore, the form of conventional emptiness and the form of emptiness convention, because they transcend worldly analogies, whatever mind exists, that mindlessness is free from the nature of permanence and annihilation, emptiness and compassion are inseparable. In terms of ultimate truth, the two dharmas are different, so they transcend existence and non-existence, substance and non-substance are exhausted, Vajra Yoga is non-dual, that is, the speech of the Tathagata.
