The mandala of the sun adorned with eighty characteristics, the wisdom of equality is the letter ཨེ་ (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, Literal meaning: Ah). Moreover, in the center of the moon and sun, the wisdom of individually contemplating the letter ཧཱུཾ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) like the mark of the moon, when it transforms into the letter བཾ་ (Tibetan: བཾ, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, Literal meaning: Vam), the seat of the moon and sun becomes the letter ཨེ་. When these three become mixed into one taste, it is the wisdom of accomplishing activities, which is the letter ཨེ་. (20) From that, the complete manifestation of the deity's body is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, which is the letter བཾ་. All the mothers are ཨེ་ and all the fathers are བཾ་. The lotus and vajra of all the fathers and mothers are also ཨེ་བཾ་. Relying on that, the fire of the inner heat of the navel chakra, with the nature of the letter ཨེ་, burns all the skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, and then the nature of ཧཾ་བཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ་བཾ, Devanagari: हं वं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ vaṃ, Literal meaning: Ham Vam) of the crown chakra melts, and descending from the crown to the throat is joy, from the throat to the heart is supreme joy, from the heart to the navel is special joy, and from the navel to the secret place arises innate joy, experiencing this bliss is the yoga of bindus, which is ཨེ་བཾ་ union. In the Avadhuti nadi, meditate on the bindu as small as a mustard seed, and ascending from the secret place to the navel is joy, from the navel to the heart is supreme joy, from the heart to the throat is special joy, and from the throat to the crown arises innate joy, the bindu experiencing this bliss, like a phurba peg, expands the wheel of wisdom, and with the unwavering rays of bliss, all of the three realms, knowing the three times simultaneously, expanding in the form of the wheel of the mandala of the deity yoga, is the subtle yoga, which is ཨེ་བཾ་ union. Secondly (21), in the completion stage, the withdrawal stage and meditation are both the letter ཨེ་, prana control and retention are both the letter བཾ་, mindfulness and samadhi are both ཨེ་བཾ་ union. The six dharmas of Naropa, etc., should also be understood, the emptiness of the deity's body, the three nadis, the four chakras, etc., are the letter ཨེ་, relying on the movement of the winds, through the blazing and dripping of the white and red bindus, experiencing the four joys in sequence is the letter བཾ་, and that transforming into the illusory body of the deity is ཨེ་བཾ་ union. The profound clear light is the letter ཨེ་, dream yoga is the letter བཾ་, and that appearing as the deity's body in the dream is ཨེ་བཾ་ union. The place of transference is the letter ཨེ་, the consciousness that transfers is the letter བཾ་, and the self-transferring

The state of being non-dual is the union of E and VAM. The clear light of death is E, the intermediate state of existence is VAM, and the arising of a deity body like a mirage in the clear light of death in the intermediate state is the union of E and VAM. From the precious instructions of the lama, the mother's womb is E, and the three, sperm, essence, and wind, together with consciousness, are VAM. The arising from that, the manifestation body with the form of face and hands, is the union of E and VAM. Third, when applied to the state of the result (22), from the two bodies, the body for oneself and the body for others, first, of the two, abandonment and realization, abandonment is E and realization is VAM. And in realization, from the two, wisdom and compassion, wisdom is the letter E and compassion is the letter VAM. Of the bodies for others, from the two, the enjoyment body and the emanation body, the enjoyment body is the letter E and the emanation body is the letter VAM. Thus, the inseparability of the body for oneself and the body for others is the union of E and VAM. Fourth, therefore, the way in which all are established as E and VAM is: As stated, the three, basis, path, and result, or all phenomena included in the three, outer, inner, and other, have already been established as being included in the two, E and VAM. Therefore, it is taught that all phenomena are included in the two, E and VAM. Second, establishing the form and sound of E and VAM, there is establishing the form and establishing the sound. First, from the King of Tantras called Glorious Kalachakra, "Emptiness is also wisdom, the supreme bindu, the supreme Vajradhara," these fourteen letters have shown the great bliss of the letter VAM that does not change. And these names, such as emptiness, summarize this great person (23) who possesses the six coarse elements to be tamed in the Vajrayana, namely, the aggregate of wisdom and the aggregate of consciousness, the element of wisdom and the element of space, mind and ear, sound and phenomena, the supreme faculty, bhaga, the dripping of urine and the movement of semen, these are said to be without obscuration, of equal taste, and mixed as one, and are indestructible. The sign of this name is that in the center one should draw the form of a curved knife, an indescribable line. With the name of wisdom, one should realize the third great emptiness, namely, the aggregate of feeling and the element of fire.
