It is like this: Initially, as the source of the body's creation, it is the central channel combined with the life force. From the center of the six chakras, the interval is twelve and a half of one's own fingers, from the secret place to the crown of the head. The upper end is the nature of (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), existing in the manner of being blocked by the essence of white. Below, at the navel, red is obtained from the mother, which is blood, called short (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). Between these two is the support of the Alaya consciousness, the life force exists, empty like space. Below the navel is Manche, said to be the place where white flows out. Thus it is said. That is to say, initially the gross aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and the subtle channels, etc., as the source of the body's creation, are (218) the central channel. Regarding its determination, some believe that there are two types of central channels: the meditational central channel and the existing central channel. The former is the object of a yogi's samadhi, while the latter is believed to exist in the center of the body until death and disappear after death. Some believe it is straight, some believe that the center of the straight one has something like a horse's tail, and some believe that it does not actually exist, but these do not conform to the tantric scriptures purified by the three examinations, so one should know to take and discard oneself. One's own school's central channel is what was said earlier when the body was formed, possessing the measure of thirteen and a half of one's own fingers combined with the life force. That is to say, it exists upright in the center of the six chakras, and the interval between each of the six chakras is twelve and a half of one's own fingers, so there are thirteen and a half. The central channel also exists upright from the secret place to the crown of the head, and if the branches are added, the lower end is at the Vajra Jewel and the upper end is between the eyebrows. The upper end of the central channel is the nature of (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), existing in the manner of being blocked by the essence of white obtained from the father. The lower end is below the navel (219), the essence of red, which is blood, obtained from the mother, is called the shape of short (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). Between these two is the support of the Alaya consciousness, filled with the great life force, existing empty like space. Regarding this, in the Kalachakra it is said that above the navel is the Rahu channel, and below is the Time Fire channel. Then, in the Glorious Hevajra it is said: The moon of wisdom descends, that is called universally increasing ghee. Thus it is said that semen flows out from the central channel, how is this? That is true, but the navel

The central channel below the confluence of the three channels is called "Dungchenma" (Possessing Marrow). In the confluence of the three channels, the essence of all channels flows together as one stream, creating bliss, hence the name. Secondly, relating it to scripture: This is from the arising of vows, to the center of the lotus in the heart, empty like a water-born flower, Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) hangs down and looks below, adorned with a ghee lamp-like bindu. Below that, bodhicitta flows together, known as Avadhūtī (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), the giver of co-emergent bliss. In short, it is the life channel of embodied beings. Thus it is said. This meaning is spoken of in the arising of Hevajra vows, union with bindu, and the completion stages of the Black Tradition. That is, the central channel arises from the center of the lotus in the heart, branching upwards and downwards, clear like a water-born flower, empty without the flow of red and white. At the tip of the central channel, Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) hangs downwards, the head of Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) looking down. Below the navel, the ghee lamp is adorned with a burning A-syllable like a ghee lamp. Below that red essence, the channel from Dungchenma where the bodhicitta of all channels flows together is to be known as Avadhūtī (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), which is the giver of co-emergent joy. Thus, in short, it is said to be the channel where the great life-force wind of embodied beings resides. Avadhūtī (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is indicated by many names such as All-Arising, All-Abandoning, Abandoner of Two, Non-Dual, Delightful, Subtle Body, Doha, Great Path of Liberation, Arrogant Towards Two, and Inner Single Tree. The emanation of the venerable Manjushri, in the excellent differentiation of the three vows, said: "The Chinese translation is Doha, or Abandoner of Two, or All-Arising. If the meaning of the words is not understood, then that is arrogant towards two, explaining it as arrogant towards two." Thus it is said (221), not comprehending that one thing has many names. Abandoner of Two and Non-Dual should be explained as abandoning the two of grasper and grasped, and the meaning of non-duality. If so, then Arrogant Towards Two should also be explained as the meaning of being ashamed of the two of grasper and grasped. Also, in some texts of the Ancient Secret Mantra, it is said that the five purities gather in the heart.
