The exhaustion of things and non-things, the Vajra Yoga is non-dual. The teachings of the Thus-Gone One (81) are without partiality. It is also said in the Root Tantra: Transcending existence and non-existence, the non-dual things and non-things are exhausted, emptiness and compassion are inseparable, the Vajra Yoga is great bliss. Transcending the nature of the finest particles, completely abandoning the dharma of emptiness, completely liberated from permanence and annihilation, the Vajra Yoga is impartial. If that is the case, it is also unreasonable to say, "The nature of the Middle Way is the only bliss," because the Middle Way and bliss also depend on extremes and suffering, and therefore will fall into partiality. If you say that, if you rely on the mind that clings to characteristics, that transformation is true. But we, after completely abandoning all thoughts, only observe the sun. Because it is certain that we are free from all clinging, we do not cling to the Middle Way and bliss either. The emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence, like the virginity of a young woman, transcends the realm of words and concepts, and is free from all extremes such as existence and non-existence. Therefore, that which is free from all clinging is merely designated as the name of the Middle Way (82). If so, what is that very partiality? From the Immaculate Light it says: What is called partiality is things and non-things, existence and non-existence, is and is not, one and not one, permanence and annihilation, existence and nirvana, form and non-form, sound and non-sound, moment and non-moment, attachment and non-attachment, anger and non-anger, delusion and non-delusion, and so on. These are all partialities, because they have mutual dependence. Being free from these partialities is the non-abiding nirvana of the Buddhas, the emptiness of self-nature, the wisdom that is free from one moment and many moments, is the Suchness of the Victorious Ones. And so on, extensively explained. If it transforms in this way, then where does the wisdom that realizes emptiness arise? For this, the initial practitioners with the accumulation of merit

Temporarily, relying on the yoga of the six branches of union, at the end of the perfection of the form of emptiness, one obtains the first moment of unchanging wisdom. (83) Those yogis who have attained stability, at the end of the great supreme Dharma of the path of union, one hundred and eighty thousand winds cease without moving, and thus they obtain the wisdom of the path of seeing of the first ground. Similarly, at the end of the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth grounds, each ground ceases one hundred and eighty thousand winds, thus sequentially obtaining the wisdoms up to the eleventh ground. The Buddhas, at the end of the eleventh ground, cease twenty-one thousand six hundred winds, thus obtaining the wisdom of the twelfth ground, the complete perfection of the accomplishment of the Great Seal. Therefore, the main subject taught in this text is the latter. As it is said in "The Immaculate Light": "The vajra words of ultimate meaning, the fourth is also thus." This bestows the fruit of the accomplishment of the Great Seal. For this first Buddha, those vajra words themselves are made clear by the Bhagavan through extremely clear showing, telling, and thoroughly telling. To accomplish this, the practice of the Great Seal, the path of signs such as smoke (84) is made extremely clear. Focusing one-pointedly on emptiness, one should completely examine it in one day. This is what it says. Because of these words of the Bhagavan, in the supreme first Buddha, the path of practicing the Great Seal of vajra words, smoke and so on, is made extremely clear, and it does not come through the lineage of the gurus, nor is it blessed by the command of the guru. For this path, there is trust, one should completely examine it in one day. Because the Bhagavan said so. Here, abandoning the signs such as smoke, other methods of practice such as mantras, should not be completely examined by the yogi of one day. There are also three kinds of signs, namely the first sign, the middle sign, and the last sign. The first sign is the path of smoke and so on, through the union of the six branches, after the body is perfected, one obtains the unchanging moment.
