There is. (664) According to the first, it would become liberation without effort; according to the second, it would become the fault of having no liberation, thus showing. Regarding these and so on, the causes and effects that appear in the mind, as mentioned above, the Vaibhashikas believe that the reality of external objects is seen nakedly. The Sutrantikas believe that external objects are real, but appear directly in the mind in their own time. The Cittamatrins believe that there is no function of creating appearances, but like the appearance of a dream, it is not other than the mind. Therefore, the Vaibhashikas and Sutrantikas abandon evil views, while the Madhyamaka Prasangikas and Svatantrikas also abandon clinging to the mind, believing that mere negation is also meaningful. The great Yogacara Madhyamakas believe that the self-aware and self-illuminating mind, free from grasping and the grasped, is the true meaning, etc., as said by the wise who abandon and cultivate. As it is said in the Bodhicitta Explanation: Abiding in the Cittamatra, those of great fortune also abandon it. For those who speak of Vijnanavada, these various appearances are established as mind. If asked what is the nature of Vijnana? Now it should be explained. All these (665) are called Cittamatra, what the Thuba (Buddha) taught, is to abandon the fear of children, not it itself. The parikalpita and paratantra, and the parinispanna, this is merely the nature of emptiness, its essence is imputed on the mind. For the nature of delighting in the Mahayana, the equality of non-self of phenomena, the mind is not born from the face, the Buddha briefly proclaimed. Thus it is said. In the Sutra Ornament it is also said: Having realized through intelligence that there is nothing other than the mind, then also realize that the mind itself is non-existent. Those with intelligence realize that both do not exist, those without intelligence abide in the Dharmadhatu. Etc., extensively explained, therefore understand the way to enter all vehicles, understand the establishment of the two truths of each school without confusion. Having understood like this, what should be done? It is for the purpose of abandoning wrong views and establishing right views. Therefore, the order of views of one's own schools (666) is also proclaimed in the King of Tantras: If someone says that the Pudgala exists in the body, that is the Svabhavavadins.

Places of downfall. All mundane meanings also consider the speaker to be without ultimate ignorance. Those who say that all three realms are consciousness also consider consciousness to exist. Whoever speaks of emptiness and compassion as inseparable will not fall into bias. Thus it is said. In its commentary, it is refuted as follows: Some Vaibhashikas believe that the so-called "Pudgala" is real and exists within the bodies of sentient beings. If analyzed with reason, this is unreasonable. Is that Pudgala of the nature of consciousness or of the nature of non-consciousness? If it is the former, then the Pudgala will become impermanent, because it is of the nature of consciousness. For example, when the consciousness of a pot ceases, the consciousness of cloth arises. This cannot be accepted, because there is a Pudgala here who bears responsibility. The Blessed One said, "I neither speak of a permanent self nor of an impermanent self." This contradicts the truthful commitment. If it is the latter, that is, of the nature of non-consciousness, then because of ignorance, it cannot perceive pleasure and pain, etc. Therefore, if the nature of that Pudgala admitted by the Vaibhashikas is analyzed, it will fall. Furthermore, the Vaibhashikas say: Space and the two cessations, the three unconditioned are permanent, all conditioned are momentary, empty of self, peaceful without an agent, sense-born intelligence without aspects, directly knowing the accumulation of subtle particles, this is the water treasury of the Kashmirian treatises, admitted by the treatises of the Vaibhashika school. Thus it is said. If so, then the form of the person who looks at alms becomes the nature of many things, such as beauty and ugliness, because the sense consciousness of the enemy and friend who look at it directly and nakedly recognizes its form without aspects. In the sense consciousness of a friend, it appears beautiful, and in the sense consciousness of an enemy, it appears ugly. I will eliminate the fault of the clinging of the Sautrantika school, because the ultimate wisdom Dharmakaya of the Buddha becomes ignorance in relation to external objects, because they believe that the appearing Buddha wisdom does not exist like the son of Mosham. (668) Furthermore, the Sautrantikas say: That which produces consciousness with aspects is the object of the senses.
