In the beginning of explaining the three dharmas, although the seven virtues of Vulture Peak Mountain were proclaimed, the current beings have not seen them as they are. Therefore, although the current Vulture Peak Mountain does not possess the characteristics mentioned in the *Ratnakuta Sutra*, it is said (in the sutra) that it has no faults. Regarding this, the Sakya Dharma Lord said: Some people say this, Vulture Peak Mountain, it is not like what is said in the *Ratnakuta Sutra* now, due to the power of the times, all places, appear to be changing. This also needs to be explained separately, please listen carefully. There are two ways of explaining the reality of things and praising merits and demerits. Proclaiming faults and merits, like the way of poets, for Vulture Peak Mountain, it is also said that it is high and round, etc. Like the great plains of Tibet, it is a great mountain of the holy land. Such explanations are the (style) of poets, there is nothing that can be considered a fault. When explaining the reality of things, if there are omissions or errors, then the wise will consider this a fault. For example, when praising a cow, saying that it is a walking snow mountain, or a broken cloud, or the tip of its horn is like a vajra, or its hooves are like Indranila, or its tail is like a wish-fulfilling tree, etc. In addition, when praising a person, saying that the face is like the sun and moon, the teeth are like a range of snow mountains, etc. For the vast, use the sky as a metaphor, for the tiny, use dust as a metaphor, for the coarse, use Mount Meru as a metaphor, for the small, use an elephant as a metaphor, for the wealthy, use Vaishravana as a metaphor, for a small king, use Indra as a metaphor, even for an ordinary spiritual friend, praise them like a Buddha, these are not prohibited for poets. When explaining the reality of things, when determining the characteristics, if the explanation of things is not as it is, how can the wise be happy? Therefore, for Vulture Peak Mountain, etc., praise is according to the way of poets. For Mount Kailash, Lake Manasarovar, etc., when explaining the reality of things, if there are errors in this, then one is not omniscient. Due to the force of the degenerate age, it may become slightly worse, but how can everything be wrong? So it was said. To this, a debater living in the corner said: If praising Vulture Peak Mountain in this way is fabricated according to the way of poets, then the Mother of the Buddhas...

In the discussion basis of the "Madhyamaka-vyākhyāna" and the "Middle Treatise", it is mentioned: When the Blessed One was teaching the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra, from this Sahā world system, from each of the world systems as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River to the east, countless Bodhisattvas, including householders and renunciates, and boys and girls, came to Vulture Peak to listen to the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra. Similarly, it was taught in all ten directions (479). These assemblies that appeared from as many beings as there are in the Sahā world system up to the sons of the Akanistha gods, because the current Vulture Peak has no space to accommodate them, this, like a poet, becomes purely fabricated. If that is the case, then everything that the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra speaks of will also become purely fabricated. Furthermore, (it is said in the sutra) that when there are no clouds, (visibility) exceeds three yojanas. As it is said, it is difficult for even the sole of the foot of one son of the Akanistha god to fit on the current Vulture Peak, let alone the entire body? Therefore, this will also become fabricated, like a poet. Furthermore, in the chapter on the discussion basis of the "Mother Sutra", it is mentioned: Then, at that time, in just a single moment, this three-thousand great-thousand world system completely became of the nature of jewels, filled everywhere with various kinds of flowers, with silk ribbons and garlands hanging everywhere, and various kinds of incense (480) wafting from various vessels, and adorned with wish-fulfilling trees, with various fruits causing the tips of the branches to droop, and completely adorned with various kinds of flower trees, fruit trees, incense trees, garland trees, powder trees, and incense trees, becoming exceedingly magnificent. For example, like the Buddha-field of the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, the Buddha Flower Fully Blossomed, where Mañjuśrī Kumārabhūta resides, and the son of the gods, whose wisdom is exceedingly firm, and other great Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas who possess great splendor reside.
