For example, it is said that during the reign of King Strong, churning the Milk Ocean produced the horse named High Voice, the elephant Earth Protector, the jewel कौस्तुभ (Tibetan: ཀཽ་སྟུ་བྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: कौस्तुभ, Sanskrit Romanization: kaustubha, Chinese literal meaning: कौस्तुभ Jewel), the tree All-Gathering, the goddess Abhasa, the goddess of Fortune, the moon, nectar, and the Black Heap. If this were true, then in Andhaka's own kingdom there would be no dates, constellations, months, stars, or time, because there would be no rising and setting of the moon and sun. Since the moon dwelling in the ocean cannot enjoy the stars, there would be no reckoning of the first day of the month, etc. The rising and setting of the sun and auspicious stars, etc., and the complete enjoyment of the seven planets would also disappear (465). Similarly, in the kingdom of Niro Kashyapa there would be no planets, etc., because by the power of time, the strong one was born, and then the gods and non-gods churned the ocean. If it is said that this is not the moon, but the moon on the crown of Ishvara, then that statement is unreasonable, because Andhaka was killed in order to manifest that moon. The appearance of the Black Heap is also not true, because during the reign of King Strong, the poison of the Black Heap was consumed, so Ishvara was not previously blue-necked. Similarly, the appearance of Earth Protector, High Voice, the goddess of Fortune, कौस्तुभ (Tibetan: ཀཽ་སྟུ་བྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: कौस्तुभ, Sanskrit Romanization: kaustubha, Chinese literal meaning: कौस्तुभ Jewel), and nectar is also not true, because in the land of Adhaka, all the gods dwell in their own signs and on their own mounts. If the malicious hermits say that due to the curse of दुर्वापा (Tibetan: དུར་པཱ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: दुर्वापा, Sanskrit Romanization: durvāpā, Chinese literal meaning: दुर्वापा), Indra's wealth entered the ocean, then that is not true, because Indra's curse would not cause the wealth of other gods to decline. (466) In such a sequence of statements, all historical dharmas would become false. Thus spoke the Blessed One. Furthermore, in the Great Golden Peacock Sutra, it is also said: "Gangschan and Tise are said to be different." And its commentator also said: "The Great Golden Peacock Sutra," etc., these two, in that sutra it is also said: "King of Mountains, Gangschan, and King of Mountains, Tise."

Some say that this statement is contradictory. Although it is true that it is said in this way, in the hundred thousand commentaries on the Great Golden Peacock Sutra composed by the great scholar Karma Vajra, it says, "The so-called King of Snow Mountains is a mountain called the King of Snow Mountains in the north after passing nine black mountains from the place where the sound is unpleasant." And it says, "The so-called King of Mount Kailash is a snow mountain. It has three peaks, is the abode of Mahadeva, and has a circumference of five hundred yojanas and a height of five hundred yojanas." It is said that the place where the sound is unpleasant is the place in India on this Jambudvipa that is known as having an unpleasant sound. It is also said that the Great Lord resides on Mount Kailash. In the Maitreya Prophecy Sutra, it says, "On the great snow mountain of Kailash, there are great noble elders, surrounded by one thousand three hundred arhats." This is as well-known as the wind to those scholars of the snowy region who are familiar with the sutras. Therefore, 'Snowy Region,' 'Snow Mountain,' and 'King of Snow Mountains' are general names, while 'Kailash' is a specific name. Although Kailash is different from the Snow Mountain, there is no contradiction in it being a Snow Mountain. The statement 'The King of Mount Kailash' is a snow mountain also proves that Kailash is a Snow Mountain. In the commentary on the 'Praise of the Extraordinary' composed by the teacher Sherab Gocha, in the story of the brothers, the noble accomplished one and the Lord of Bliss-making, it says that they saw the Great Lord, Uma, and the King of Cattle visibly residing on Mount Kailash, so they went there. They saw the King of Cattle eating branches, Uma eating fruits, and the Great God surrounded by a thousand attendants. It is said that at noon, five hundred arhats flew up into the sky from Lake Manasarovar, and the Great God and his attendants made offerings to them. Therefore, the fact that Kailash and Manasarovar are mentioned together also proves that Kailash is a Snow Mountain and that Mapham is Manasarovar. The book explicitly states that five hundred arhats and the Great Lord reside there. Furthermore, the Avatamsaka Sutra also says, "The width of Lake Manasarovar is fifty yojanas. The ground is covered with jewels, and the banks are built with jewels."
