Therefore, since the white conch has no obscuration, you, the person who sees the yellow conch, will also be able to see the white conch without effort. If there is no obscuration such as yellow on the white conch, but due to illness and other reasons, the eye's consciousness is reversed and disordered, not seeing the existing white conch, but seeing the non-existent yellow conch, then you speak well. You have well maintained my point of view, well said, well said. Similarly, the (39) suchness of the mind has no other obscurations, even though the nature of the mind itself has not moved from emptiness, but in the state of self-luminous nature, whatever appears is shaken by the moving nature of the afflicted mind, causing the duality of grasper and grasped to be reversed and disordered, not seeing the existing suchness of the mind, but seeing the various illusions of the non-existent grasper and grasped, you must be certain of this. This was also said by the Bhagavan, like this: Whoever does not see what exists, but sees what does not, The childish ones engage in non-existent dharmas. And, these are all appearances of illusion, Like experiencing a dream. When awakened from the sleep of ignorance and illusion, All phenomena of samsara are without object. Thus it was said. Therefore, for the mind-essence that is non-dual in appearance and emptiness, on the level of illusion, obscurations and qualities appear and disappear in sequence, but on the level of non-delusion, there is no obscuration to be removed, nor is there (40) any quality to be newly established. When the illusion of dualistic appearance disappears, the mind-essence, the appearance of emptiness and clarity, is completely purified, appearing in the pure realm of reality, because this is naturally obtained by the nature of reality. The way to eliminate illusion is also consistent with the tantras, and it is certain that it arises from this great treatise, therefore, the channels, winds, and bindus of the vajra body are struck at the key points, and when the wind enters the central channel, the afflicted mind is freed from activity, and thus the pure suchness of the mind can be directly seen. At that time, one will be liberated from all illusions of grasper and grasped. For example, a rope

When one mistakes a rope for a snake, if it is pointed out that "this is a rope," then just as one is liberated from the thought of grasping at a snake by seeing the rope as a rope, so too at that time there is neither a snake to be removed nor a rope to be newly established. This meaning is also taught in the Perfection Vehicle, as it is said: "Here there is nothing to be removed, nor is there anything to be established, look at reality as reality, if you see reality you are liberated." Most of the scholars of the snowy lands (Tibet) have erred by explaining this text in a perverse way. Thus, the Buddha, with his non-dual wisdom, knows and sees all the dharmas of nirvana, but all the dharmas of the illusory appearance of samsara are said to be known but not seen. As it is said in the Immaculate Light: "Therefore, the measure of the world that the Bhagavan spoke of is the manifestation of the habits of the minds of sentient beings. The Tathagata does not see the world with attachment, and therefore there is no completeness of things spoken of in terms of the nature of the grasper and the grasped. Thus, having fully known everything, the Bhagavan spoke of the measure of the world and the measure of the body for the sake of the mandala, in order to fully ripen the sages." If that is the case, then is it not contradictory to say, "He sees each sentient being six times day and night," and "He abides in the state of seeing all sentient beings"? Although this is true, the Sugata-garbha establishes three names from the perspective of three states, and there is no contradiction because it is said that sentient beings are in an impure state, and that is what is being seen. Furthermore, the mere sound of "knowing" also applies to understanding that meaning by relying on other sounds, and in order to avoid the idea that it can be understood by that alone, "knowing and seeing" is spoken of, which is merely avoiding repetition incidentally. Great scholars think in their hearts that they must know all dharmas and see them, and thus strive to avoid the repetition of "knowing and seeing," but even if they avoid it hundreds of times, it is still not avoided, because "the all-knowing one"...
