'Arising naturally from the sky, like the great fire of wisdom!'. This vision burns and appears in the cloudless sky. Similarly, 'Radiant, illuminating everything', the light of wisdom shines, like the moon. 'The lamp of beings' is the sun. 'The lamp of wisdom' is Vajra, that is, Rāhu. 'Glorious, radiant light' is lightning, the supreme part. 'The master of supreme mantra, the king of mantras' is Thigle (bindu). Thus, there are ten signs. In Guhyasamāja and other tantras, the yoga of the night and pure signs are mainly discussed, while the yoga of the day is less mentioned. So, how is it described in the Guhyasamāja? 'First like a mirage, second like smoke, third like sparks in the sky, fourth like a lamp.' The Tattvasamgraha also says: 'Arising naturally from the sky, like the great fire of wisdom! Radiant, illuminating everything, the light of wisdom shines, the lamp of beings, the lamp of wisdom, the glorious light!' The Ḍākinīvajrapañjara also says: 'First like the appearance of clouds, second like the state of smoke, third like the shape of sparks, fourth like a burning lamp, fifth always appearing, like the cloudless sky.' The Abhiṣeka-samgraha also says: 'Smoke, mirage, sparks, burning lamp, sun and moon, dark part, great Thigle.' And so on, in many pure tantras, the signs of day and night and the meaning of the signs are clearly explained. In the Bhagavatī-prajñāpāramitā, there are also 'samādhi called the appearance of jewels', 'samādhi called the jewel lamp', 'samādhi called the appearance of the moon', 'samādhi called the sun lamp', etc., samādhis that are consistent with many pure tantras. In the Tattvajñānasiddhi it is also said: 'First appearing like a family rule, at night second like the state of smoke, third like sparks, fourth clearly like a burning lamp. The fifth sign is non-discrimination, appearing like the cloudless sky. After seeing such signs, one will attain Mahāmudrā.' And so on. Consistent with these, the great accomplished Durjayacandra also said: 'Mirage, smoke, sparks, lamp, sky, sun and moon, Rāhu, and appearing like lightning.' The accomplished... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even the invincible moon, at first appears like clouds, secondly like smoke, and thirdly like lightning. Fourthly like a lamp, and fifthly everything appears, like a cloudless sky. Afterwards, it resembles an illusion, fleeting like a dream. Therefore, the great accomplished ones also clearly stated in accordance with the teachings of the sutras and tantras. We should have faith in these pure teachings, and practice them day and night, they will transform into an accumulation of wisdom, which is the common intention of all Buddhas and their retinues. Foolish, ignorant, and arrogant people, clinging to the emptiness of conventional truth, thinking that the experiences of the six yogas are impermanent, do not be deceived by these demonic words, practice is essential. Taking the signs of smoke etc. as objects of focus, concentrating on them with one-pointedness, is the samadhi of uniting shamatha and vipassana. If you practice this continuously, you can experience emptiness with all the supreme aspects, that is, the aspect of the three realms. As the Kalachakra Root Tantra says: 'All the three realms, should be contemplated as the body of the Buddha.' The Glorious Tantra also says: 'In its center, the body of the Buddha is free from object and form, the various perfect Sambhogakaya. The yogi, with widened eyes, gazes at the cloudless sky, until he sees black lines in the stainless light-shining Kalachakra nadi. 'To this, the Omniscient One said: 'The body of the Buddha is like the sun in water, without contamination, with various colors, possessing all aspects, one's own mind is free from object and form, and not the mind of another.' Its commentary says: 'In its center, that is, in the center of the bindu, the body of the Buddha is free from object and form because it has no substance and is immeasurable, it is the various perfect Sambhogakaya.' Then, hear the sound that cannot be destroyed by form. Therefore, from the appearance of form arises the Nirmanakaya, and from the appearance of sound arises the Sambhogakaya. Here, in the yoga of daytime, the yogi should gaze with widened eyes at the cloudless sky, turning his back to the morning and evening sun. Otherwise, he will be confused by the light of the sun, which will bring harm. Do not look at the sun separately. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
