When they die, they make a 'kak-kak' sound. They do not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha (如来藏，the womb of the Tathāgata). In the future, any sentient beings who make a 'kak-kak' sound, those sentient beings who do not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha are none other than those monks who have become livestock and do not understand the nature of Dharma. Those sentient beings who were born as pigeons in the past were very attached to form and under the influence of lust, so most of them did not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha and acted violently. In the future, any sentient beings who are under the influence of lust will mostly not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha. These sentient beings are none other than those who have become pigeons and have long been accustomed to afflictions. Those who were born as shameless crows in the past, whose behavior was very indecent and who ate impure things, are still poor and shameless, and do not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha. In the future, any sentient beings who, after hearing about the Tathāgatagarbha from a beneficial teacher, leave with contempt, those sentient beings who do not believe in their own nature are none other than those shameless crows who eat impure things. Those who were born as ugly monkeys in the past, whose minds were like a fluctuating ocean with waves of various colors, still become agitated when they hear about the Tathāgatagarbha and do not believe in it. In the future, any sentient beings who become agitated when they hear about the Tathāgatagarbha and do not believe in it are none other than those monks who are frivolous and lowly like monkeys. Any sentient beings who were born as owls in the past, with very poor eyesight during the day and good eyesight at night, those sentient beings who do not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha, even if they see a lama in this world, they do not want to look. In the future, any sentient beings who hear about the Tathāgatagarbha from a beneficial teacher and do not believe in the Buddha's prophecy are those monks who have become owls and do not believe, just like the predictions of a diviner. Any monks who were born in sandy places in the past and were bound by very meaningless theories, those sentient beings who do not believe in the Tathāgatagarbha still do not believe in anatta (无我，Sanskrit: anātman, no-self).
