The Complete Works of Dolpopa Sherab Gyaltsen, JDol16, *Eliminating Wrong Views*. *Eliminating Wrong Views* *Eliminating Wrong Views* Om Guru Buddha Bodhisattvebhyo Namo Namah (藏文:ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ་བུདྡྷ་བོ་དྷི་སཏྭེ་བྷྱོ་ན་མོ་ན་མཿ,梵文天城体:ओṃ गुरु बुद्ध बोधिसत्त्वेभ्यो नमो नमः,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ guru buddha bodhisattvebhyo namo namaḥ,Literal meaning: Om, Gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, I bow, I bow). The basis of all dharmas, empty, solitary, and pure, the profound Other-Emptiness of Dharmadhatu, the All-Creating Primordial Wisdom, the Great Bliss, the ultimate realm, indivisible awareness. Without contradiction or fault. Many tastes as one, the basis that is free from all extremes of elaboration such as existence and non-existence, and imputation. The Middle Way. The intermediate. The third aggregate, the state of neither male nor female, Vajrasattva. The letter E-Vam (藏文:ཨེ་ཝཾ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,Literal meaning: ). The supreme other, the further shore, the first Buddha, the Primordially Liberated Tathagata. The Great Perfection of Wisdom. The Great Nirvana. The deity, mantra, tantra, mandala, mudra, and all the siddhis of ultimate meaning, such as Hevajra, are the nature of the union of all of these, suchness, and so forth. I prostrate to and take refuge in the nine completely perfected ones. One should have faith, respect, and trust in all of these. One should not do otherwise. As rare as the flower of the Udumbara, in the *Angulimala Sutra*, Angulimala said to Manjushri: 'Manjushri, you are the best of those who see the Great Emptiness, who in the world sees emptiness? What is the meaning of emptiness, emptiness? O great wise one, please speak quickly, quickly cut off my doubts!' Then, the youthful Manjushri spoke to Angulimala in verse: 'The Buddha is like the sky, the sky has no characteristics. The Buddha is like the sky, the sky is born without characteristics. The Buddha is like the sky, the sky has no form. All dharmas are like the sky, the Tathagata is the Dharmakaya. Wisdom is like the sky, the Tathagata is the Wisdom Body. It cannot be grasped or touched, the unattached wisdom is the Tathagata. Liberation is like the sky, the sky also has no characteristics. Liberation is the Buddha Tathagata, emptiness is nothing at all, Angulimala, how could you know?' After that, Angulimala again said to the youthful Manjushri: 'For example, great clouds pour down heavy rain, and a child takes hailstones, thinking they are precious beryl jewels, and carries them home, but because it is too cold to bear, he thinks to bury them, so he puts them carefully into a pot.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seeing the hailstone melt, thinking it is emptiness, and thus remaining silent, just like that, Bhikshu Manjushri deeply meditates on emptiness and thoroughly contemplates emptiness, thereby seeing all dharmas as unbearable to destruction. Also, he considers liberation not as emptiness, but as emptiness. For example, just as one thinks of a hailstone as a jewel and then meditates that the jewel is also emptiness, you also think of non-empty dharmas as emptiness. After seeing that dharmas are empty, you also perceive that non-empty dharmas will be destroyed. Empty dharmas are one thing, and non-empty dharmas are another. Like a hailstone, countless afflictions are emptiness. Like a hailstone, dharmas of the unwholesome side will quickly be destroyed. Like a Vaidurya jewel, the Buddha is eternal, and the ultimate end of liberation is also like a Vaidurya jewel. The sky is also the form of the Buddhas, and all forms of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are non-existent. The liberation of the Buddha is also form, and the liberation of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is without form. How can the characteristic of liberation be called emptiness, and not a concept without differentiation? Manjushri, the stacked houses in an empty city are empty because there is no one there. A vase is empty because there is no water. A river is empty because there is no water flowing. Is the space between cities, where there are no houses, called emptiness? Are all the houses empty? Not all are empty, but it is called empty because there is no one there. Are all the vases empty? Not all are empty, but it is called empty because there is no water. Are all the rivers empty? Not all are empty, but it is called empty because there is no water flowing. Similarly, not all liberations are empty, but because they are free from all faults, liberation is called empty. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is not empty, but because he is free from all faults, and there are no humans or gods with countless afflictions, it is called empty. Alas, Bhikshu Manjushri's behavior is like that of a bee, not understanding the true meaning of emptiness and non-emptiness. The naked ascetics also meditate that everything is empty, naked ascetic bee, say nothing!' After saying this, 'The Buddha is like the sky,' etc., 'There is nothing that is not empty, Sorantak, how would you know?' Until the end, as some people think, everything... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
