Furthermore, the correct understanding of reality means entering into emptiness without any inversion. Such teachings have been proclaimed, and the ultimate truth has also been shown to be established as ultimately real. As the noble Nāgārjuna states in his auto-commentary to the *Akutobhayā*: 'The ultimate truth is that which the noble ones have realized without inversion, seeing all dharmas as unborn. For them, this is the ultimate truth, hence it is called the ultimate truth.' Moreover, in the *Madhyamaka-bhāvanākrama* by the same master, it says: 'Since such pure wisdom, with its ultimate reality of self-nature, is established as utterly real, it does not arise from the imputation of something else.' In the *Dharmadhātustava* it also says: 'Just as a lamp placed inside a vase, does not appear to shine even a little, so too, with afflictions dwelling within, the *dharmadhātu* is not seen. Whichever direction, a hole is made in the vase, from that very direction, the nature of light will appear. When with the vajra of samādhi, that vase is shattered, at that time it illuminates, to the ultimate end of space. The *dharmadhātu* is unborn, and will never cease, at all times it is without afflictions, without beginning, middle, or end, and free from stains.' And, 'If one does not fully know, and constantly wanders in the three realms, that which dwells in all sentient beings, to the *dharmadhātu* I prostrate and bow.' By this merit, may all beings, accumulate the two collections of merit and wisdom, and may they obtain the two supreme accomplishments, arising from merit and wisdom. Until that is obtained, may I, having abandoned those with the three faults, obtain the complete Dharma, perfect with faultless qualities, and may I also show it to others. This *Eliminating Wrong Views* is the profound and extraordinary essence of the ultimate Great Madhyamaka, the supreme Dharma of Perfection, collected from what is still present on the pages today. Complete. May there be auspiciousness! May all be well! Proofread. (This version is mainly based on the old headless manuscript from Drepung Monastery in Lhasa, page 555. It also references the old headed manuscript from Drepung Monastery, page 515, and the Dzamtang edition. Differences are indicated within {} brackets, please note.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
