It is the Buddha himself, considered as the obscuration of ignorance. As stated in the Vajra Dakini: "The Buddha dwells in one's own body, this body is the Svabhavikakaya of the Buddha, in the limbs of Bodhi, its pores are Arhats." As stated in the Vinaya Source: "The bodies of the twenty-four deities are suffering and attachment, the body is the nature of the Buddha, this is the same as all Buddhas." As stated in the Tantra Equal to Space: "Heruka is the skandha, the skandha is also Heruka, the dhatu is Vajra Hero, Vajra Heroine is the dhatu itself, the ayatanas are also the same, it should be known as the nature of the deity." As it is said, it refutes the general aspect of denying the distinction between the pure basis and the pure Dharma, the support and the supported, or that it exists only in the Dharmadhatu, but it is not the self-nature of the suffering of samsara, therefore it is the emptiness of negation of negation, and it is called other-emptiness. The latter is established in the spontaneously born, primordially clear mandala, and it is the method of purifying heat and moisture that obscures it, which is different from the mandala of the former, which is complete in the basis of self-nature. Thirdly, it explains the basis of all of these, the indestructible bindu: the so-called extremely subtle indestructible bindu dwells universally in the continuum of all sentient beings. Among them, the indestructible nadi bindu, the indestructible prana bindu, and the indestructible dhatu bindu exist inseparably, and the nadi connected to the outer, inner, and secret three is the Nirmanakaya, the prana is the Sambhogakaya, and the bindu is the ultimate intention of the Dharmakaya, which is also called the extremely subtle three doors. Furthermore, there are five kinds of indestructible bindus: the indestructible prana bindu, the indestructible white dhatu bindu, the indestructible red bindu, the indestructible mind bindu, and the indestructible Dharmata bindu, which are all included in the above three, because the nature of all of them is the nature of the luminous mind or the inseparable power of primordial wisdom and primordial prana, from which everything else arises. Recognizing and realizing the power of habituation manifests as qualities, accomplishing the spontaneously accomplished three bodies and the inconceivable mind of the Buddha, while non-realization becomes the basis of delusion for the three realms, three doors, etc. of samsara. The reality of all of these is Dharmata, free from elaboration.

It is for the spontaneous accomplishment of the great bindu. Here, the indestructible thigle of the unique channel, is the clear light channel, emptiness self-liberation, etc., spoken of in Dzogchen. It is the primordial body, the essence of vajra, which is the basis of contemplation. This is called the pure channel of the secret thigle, like a white silk thread. In the Guhyasamaja, from the inseparability of channel and wind, the five-colored wind is the basis for the accomplishment of the Vajra Body. Its own sound is the basis for the accomplishment of the Vajra Speech. The basis for the accomplishment of the Vajra Mind is the mind completely purified into three subtle aspects. This channel is the indestructible channel produced by the white element, the wisdom or mind of the red element, which is the indestructible thigle, the basis or root of all. These are said to be the basis for the accomplishment of the three vajras residing within oneself. Even so, if summarized, the mind is the Dharmakaya, the wind element is the basis for the accomplishment of the Rupakaya, possessing the twenty-five wisdoms and so on arising from the mind, and the peaceful and wrathful deities of the hundred families, the union of father and mother, method and wisdom, inseparable from white and red; and from the wind, all the various manifestations of the five speeches arise. Therefore, the indestructible thigle resides in the heart, which is the basis for accomplishment spoken of in all the tantras, the tantra of knowable objects, which should be properly and definitely viewed. These cannot be established by a single basis of accomplishment that negates non-existence. And these are not coarse. For these, the illusion of a rope-snake appearance is the emptiness of self-nature, and therefore it does not contradict the doctrine of other-emptiness, but is connected. As it is said in the Abhisamayalankara: "The thigle that always resides in the heart, is one and unchanging." And as it is said in the Vajra Garland: "In the empty space of the lotus heart, the wisdom vajra always resides. The great lord, the immovable one, is the realm of the world." And as it is said in the Question of the Four Goddesses: "The subtle and supreme half-measure, the object of mind, the form of thigle, always resides in the center of the heart, possessing great blazing light." And as it is said in the Condensed Tantra: "The all-pervading Vajradhara of space, separate from object and aspect, is also the same in the pure center of the body." And as it is said in the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra: "In the center of the heart, the indestructible, is clear and like a lamp. The unchanging, supremely subtle, A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A)."
