Manifestation is unborn, liberated in seeing. The actual way to obstruct and bind this is: in the space between the appearance of objects and the encounter of empty awareness, it is bound by grasping the nature of awareness. As it says in the Great Garuda (khyung chen): "Direct cutting, self-purification, liberation at the edge, completely perfect. Whose boundlessness, which two are self-illuminating, non-doing great expanse, the great obstruction of non-effort. Body, speech, non-doing, bound there in the space between appearance and emptiness." Thus. Fifth, the way to protect the great fruit of one liberation is: all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are not separate from one awareness, therefore all liberations of skill and play are empty of the limit of many differences. Liberation in the nature of that awareness is: in the space between the assembly of object, faculty, and attention, without thinking about them, with the confidence of recognizing the one awareness, the rainbow body dharmakaya appears as all objects and minds go to liberation, without obstruction or binding. As it says in the Great Garuda (khyung chen): "Without appearance, wisdom free from emptiness, ungrasped, unabandoned, uncorrupted, self-so. Who can touch one with three? Not true, not false, the way to abide is clear." Thus, the obstruction of natural, original, genuine warmth is transformed into self-nature, bound between samsara and nirvana. Thus. This method of liberation is supreme, as it says in the Tantra of Averting the War of the Non-Gods (lha min g.yul bzlog gi rgyud): "Action is self-liberation, it is awareness." Thus, also, because the root awareness is held as one, the five ways in which the illusion of skill and play is liberated in its own place in that nature occur simultaneously, it is only the way of recognizing. Therefore, the implication of this intention is that the hanging obstruction of object and awareness is enough to be liberated in its difference, focusing the mind on this, without distinguishing each separately. Also, as it says in the Tantra of the Stacked Lamps (sgron ma brtsegs pa'i rgyud): "Thus, one liberation of one, self-liberation, original liberation, complete liberation, direct cutting liberation, liberation at the edge, unsurpassed." Thus. Third, there are three practices of skill. The self-liberation of the five poisons is: whatever arises of the five poisons of affliction, it is purified by releasing it into its own natural state, without grasping, in original liberation. The self-liberation of the five senses is: whatever grasping arises from the eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body, it is mixed and placed on top of that, in the great natural state of dharmata, therefore it appears as the base liberation. The self-liberation of the six aggregates means that whatever acceptance or rejection arises in the six objects of the five senses and the mind together, in that object faculty

By recognizing the three knowledges as the three kayas, liberation is attained by relaxing in that state. Gyalwa Longchenpa said: "In the realm of the three poisons, five senses, and six consciousnesses, whatever arises, leave it as the basis; primordial liberation, leave it in its natural state. Without abandoning, without abiding, it is liberated in the nature of reality. The victorious one without attachment dawns without grasping." This is the meaning. Fourth, abandoning disputes: This view of self-liberation is well-known in all the Sakya, Gelug, Kagyu, and Nyingma schools. However, some who speak carelessly say: "The antidote to desire, such as ugliness, is not practiced, nor is it prevented by the definitive understanding of great wisdom that realizes emptiness separately, so afflictions and grasping at objects are liberated in their own place." By leaving it in a state of indifference, it is difficult even to suppress it a little, so how can it be eradicated? They mock in this way. But this is simply not understanding the key point. All minds and mental events are definitively established in the wheel of reality through the door of searching for flaws. If it is not transformed into eradication by remaining equally in suchness, why wouldn't it be transformed by spreading the delusion that both abandonment and antidote are the same substance? Dignāga said, arising from the tantra of the two non-dual victors: "Great ignorance of conceptualization is what causes one to fall into the ocean of samsara." Also, Lord Atiśa said: "Appearances are similar, but there is nothing to grasp. Without grasping, do not cling. Non-duality, self-liberation, leave it relaxed." Also, the *Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra* says: "By knowing the true meaning as it is in the meaning of various conceptualizations, one will be liberated." These also speak of liberation by that very conceptualization. Knowing that the nature of afflictions is wisdom, liberation is attained by remaining equally in that state. Like knowing it is a rope, there is no need to repeatedly generate certainty that it is not a snake, like the liberation of snake-grasping, what is there to say? There is nothing to say. Therefore, even if the power of manifestation arises wrongly without abandoning the coemergent, through the kindness of the lama, through the power of seeing the nature of reality, like meeting a person one has known before, the mother and child of clear light meet and are liberated, or like recognizing a friend who was mistaken for an enemy, one will be liberated. These are also as stated in the *Tantra of the Garland of Pearls*: "Because it is primordially liberated, it is ultimately supreme. Because it is self-liberated, objective conditions are exhausted. Because it is immediately liberated, appearances are pure. Because it is liberated at the end, the four extremes
