This is the definitive statement of Vajradhara. In "One Cut, All Liberation," it says: "In seven days, realize its meaning; in seven months, do not return. By seeing, one is liberated; in seven years, one manifestly attains Buddhahood." Also, in "Vast Expanse of Clarity," it says: "Awareness, the Vajra Rosary, by merely seeing, one becomes aware; by merely knowing, one becomes liberated." And in "Mirror of Clear Meaning," it says: "Whoever sees this manifest key point will awaken in the bardo of reality. Why? Because this is actual wisdom. Seeing, knowing, and liberation occur simultaneously. If one practices this for six years, one will awaken without remainder." Thus it is said. Moreover, even hearing and connecting with the words will lead to Buddhahood in no more than three lifetimes. As it says in that very text: "Even connecting with this through words will take no more than three lifetimes." Thus it is said. The swiftness of this path is due to the three key points of the instruction being connected with the wheel of reality, thus seeing reality manifestly. In "Vast Expanse of Clarity," it says: "Whoever sees this manifest key point will not be a turning away from the three realms." Thus it is said. Third, the conclusion of the chapter: Path Manifest... With the space between three times "རྒྱ". With such a key point, it is not relying on views based on conceptual inference, nor merely on general practice and conduct, but the view is the direct perception of reality, and the practice is the three key points, bound by the Vajra commitment, not straying from that, sealing the expanse of intention with the mudra of the wheel of wisdom. Manifesting the reality of the manifest path, showing the way to engage in the realm of the wisdom of self-cognizance, this is the completion of the path of all vehicles, and because it is superior to all, it is called great. This is the second chapter, speaking of greatness, as it says in the tantra that gathers the intention of all Buddhas: "Although there are many vehicles of the nine stages, they all gather into one great perfection." Thus it is said. This sequence of the path relies on the tantra, so there is the Vajra promise of swift liberation, the self-sound of the commitment, and the sealing of the mudras of body, speech, and mind. Through the method of pursuing objects of the external world, appearances are bound and stopped as mind and without mental fixation, nameless and beyond names.
