Salutations. The measure of non-conceptual wisdom is contained within the four great assurances of above and below. The first two assurances of above are: the qualities of the Three Jewels are inconceivable; even hearing immeasurable teachings, one does not generate joy or sorrow. For all the Buddhas above, there is no expectation, but the assurance of self-awareness. For the six realms of beings below, even seeing suffering, there is no fear, but the assurance of non-erroneous awareness. For the three lower realms below, there is no fear of falling, for it is self-arisen without a teacher. Thus it is said. This boundary, in some traditions, is the end of the continuum of the ten bhumis, and some identify it with Samantabhadra's light. But in reality, the Samantabhadra's light that is approached through cause is the Dharmakaya of the great skillful path. As it is said, it is essentially the same as the spontaneously accomplished vidyadhara, so in essence, it ultimately shares the same path and fortune, but the view is the same as Samantabhadra's light. In the Small Path, it says: "That which is the first is the same fortune as the first, the second is the supreme lineage, the eighth shares the fortune with the bodhisattva, the third shares the fortune with the tenth. The difference between view and action is supremely excellent." Considering this, Nubchen says: "Samantabhadra's light is the place of abiding. That is the actual vidyadhara of spontaneous accomplishment." Thus it is said. This is called the Nirmanakaya of accomplished activity, because the activity for one's own benefit is accomplished, and it is also called the Dharmakaya of accumulated merit, because it is the Dharmakaya of the path, so the two views of Samantabhadra's light as Dharmakaya and Nirmanakaya are not contradictory. Rangshar says: "The characteristic of the Nirmanakaya is that it is considered to be of two types: accomplished activity and active activity. That is also taught as follows: The Nirmanakaya of accomplished activity is when one's own continuum is liberated and manifestly enlightened, and then emanations are scattered. Outer and inner activity are accomplished, so it is called the Nirmanakaya of accomplished activity. The Nirmanakaya of active activity is when one shows to whomever is to be tamed, and appears to be in harmony with others, but the meaning is like the former." Thus it is said. The third, the conclusion, is that this is called Dharmata, etc., because this itself is called Dharma, which refers to all the impure, deluded appearances and mind, together with their aggregates, and the pure, fundamental appearances, the clear outer manifestations, the spontaneously accomplished eight gates, and the appearances of the basis and path. The term "itself" refers to the basis of that manifestation, the self-appearing, indivisible three kayas?

Two truths, appearance and emptiness, skillful means and wisdom, profound clarity, realm of wisdom, the ultimate truth that is not a number, refers to the Dharmakaya that is inseparable from the supreme two truths. "Exhaustion" refers to the twenty aspects of samsaric phenomena that obscure the essence of the Sugata-garbha, the Buddha-nature that is the basis of inherent enlightenment. All afflictive and cognitive obscurations, the subtle habitual tendencies of mind and mental factors, except for the subtlest traces of cognitive obscurations, as well as the compounded aspects of the path truth, and the newly acquired uncontaminated qualities attained thereby, along with the appearance of outwardly manifesting phenomena from the ground, and all clinging to appearances, including all elaborations of subject and object, along with philosophical views, are completely pacified. For these reasons, it is called the exhaustion of dharmata. Therefore, in the "Perfection of Skill," it says, "The characteristic of exhaustion at this time is like the unconditioned sky." It also says, "Thus, the definitive words of dharmata, when dharma and knowledge gather and combine, acting as agents and grasping characteristics, when self-appearance manifests, grasping each of their respective types. Nature is unconditioned, abiding freely, pervading reality. Original, primordial, ordinary, the number of sounds, words, and names is exhausted." Furthermore, in the instructions of "Drop by Drop," it says, "The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is such that there is no establishment even in one's own essence, and when there is no establishment even in saying 'it is like this,' the clinging to body, speech, and mind is exhausted, and awareness, in its own essence, abides in the great body of the Vajra Garland. Here, the clinging to the three kayas is self-exhausted, transcending the kayas." Also, in the "Vast Expanse," it says, "The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is the exhaustion of all phenomena of the mind." Fourth, the time of attaining liberation is indicated by the passage from "diligence" to "already." Thus, if one practices with great diligence, without slackening, possessing the six key points, due to the differences in faculties, the superior one will realize the meaning and meditate within seven days, and within seven months will attain irreversibility (this refers to the exhaustion of the three outflows, and also refers to the highest of the superior faculties, such as Indrabhuti. Note.). The intermediate one will attain the rainbow body Dharmakaya without remainder of the aggregates within three years and seven months. The inferior ones will manifest enlightenment within seven years, and even the most inferior will attain Buddhahood within twelve years, and will not exceed this time.
