It does not abide in the realm of emptiness, but is round and self-luminous, shining with five-colored lights like water ripples. As it says in "The Blazing Lamp": "The characteristic of emptiness is pervaded by clarity. The boundaries of one's own face and body are exhausted." And as it says in "Resultant Consequence (Thal gyur)": "The characteristic of the bindu of emptiness is: Round and its nature is all-clear." The example is like the colorful and roundly swirling patterns of a peacock's feathers. It is like when a pebble is thrown into the swirling water called "Ko-mok water," there are multiple layers of patterns inside and out. As it says in "String of Pearls": "For example, like the feathers of a peacock." And as it says in "Boundless and Decisive All-Liberation": "Like throwing a pebble into Ko-mo water." The measure is: For a beginner, if the lamp is filled, it is the size of a paint color. Otherwise, when it appears in the external realm, it appears as small as a mustard seed or as large as a pea, and it reaches the stage of maturity in accordance with the order of the four appearances. As it says in "Perfected Skill": "Possessing equal parts, it is the size of a paint color." The key point of practice is: In a dark room, press the hole and edge of the chakshu (ཙཀྵུ,चक्षु,cakṣu,眼) with the thumb and forefinger. If it is still not clear, then press the two outer veins of the little finger. Initially, red light appears, and eventually five colors appear. If the eyes are too tired and the appearances are chaotic, then relax the effort and let it clear, and when the appearances increase as before, press again, that is, alternate, and eventually the wheel of clear light day and night becomes boundless like an uninterrupted stream of water. As it says in "Resultant Consequence": "The key is to fill the lamp of the bindu." And as it says in "The Blazing Lamp": "With one's own thumb and forefinger, Pressing the hole and edge of the chakshu (ཙཀྵུ,चक्षु,cakṣu,眼), It appears manifestly, with faith." Third, the lamp of self-born wisdom. It is divided into two parts: showing the general meaning and explaining the specific ways in which the rays appear. First, the former is divided into six aspects: essence, definition, division, characteristic, example, and key point. First is the essence: Generally, mind, intellect, and consciousness are the impure triple, and the body of awareness, light, and wisdom are the pure triple, there are these two. In the latter, there are two types: the essence of wisdom and its function. These wisdoms are not mind-born wisdom, nor are they like consciousness, but are the clear self-knowing intention, the knower of all lamps, the straight appearance of the function of wisdom, although it is so, but thoug

It abides without effort or exertion. As stated in the 'Extensive Sutra': 'The wisdom that distinguishes all things, self-awareness, inherently abides in this essence.' And as stated in the 'Lamp Flame Sutra': 'Thus, all lamps abide as a means of knowing. Therefore, in the part of all things, it is this essence. Because it distinguishes, it is the essence of wisdom. Therefore, it abides in a way that is without distinction.' Secondly, when the essence of self-arisen wisdom, with its radiance and power, is thoroughly understood, it is generally understood that all phenomena are empty and selfless, self-purifying and liberated. The self-aware Dharmakaya, which has become the most profound of all knowable things, is called the supreme of the wisdom of appearance and conceptualization. Because it is liberated from the illusion of grasping and attachment to the appearance of dualistic conceptualization of object and consciousness, it manifests in the state of self-abiding self-awareness, hence it is called 'Self'. Because it arises spontaneously without effort, it is called 'Arisen'. Because it illuminates and understands all phenomena, like a lamp, and adorns the basis of liberation with the distinctive qualities of self-nature awareness, it is called 'Mother'. As stated in the 'String of Pearls': 'Wisdom simultaneously realizes all phenomena. Supreme becomes the pinnacle of all. Self is independent of others, free from phenomena. Arising unimpeded, it appears freely.' And as stated in the 'Burning Lamp Sutra': 'The lamp makes all Dharmata appear as non-dual. Mother is the pervasiveness of self-nature.' Thus it is. The indivisible essence of Vajra (藏文:རྡོ༵་,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:Diamond/Thunderbolt), because it connects to all phenomena and Dharmata, the place of entry, is called 'Chain' (藏文:ལུ༵་གུ༵་). Because it is continuous from sentient beings to Buddhas, it is called 'Continuum'. In the 'Decisive Sutra' it says: 'Wanting to relate words and meanings, to understand and express through symbols.' Furthermore, in the 'All-Illuminating Sutra' it says: 'Because of connection, like a net.' And in the 'Pure Continuum Sutra' it says: 'Continuum is explained as continuous.' From its radiance, the name and meaning are also obtained from the shape of the chain, that is, the name of the result depends on the cause, and the chain of radiance that is unceasingly clear is also called the self-arisen wisdom lamp by the name of the cause, which does not contradict the key point of the essence being inseparable. Therefore, in the 'Detailed Arrangement Sutra' it also says: 'If you want to overwhelm all phenomenal dharmas without an object of focus, then look to the wisdom of the Vajra Chain.' Therefore, wisdom is called a chain. Also, if you want to understand the essence and elaboration of all phenomena, then look to the posture of the body of the Vajra Chain.
