Furthermore, maintain clear awareness. In the pith instructions of 'Dundun Chig' it says: In the evening, place the consciousness in the center of the generation chakra, this is the key to severing the stream of memory. Thus it is said. Secondly, having gathered all the impure channels and bindus into the pure channels, winds, and bindus, then gather their wisdom deities, with pure body, light, and bindu, back into the center of the heart, merging into the ground awareness of the place of the youthful vase body. By entrusting the mind to the indestructible bindu empty lamp, the coemergent great bliss of the ground body, speech, and mind, and falling asleep, the clinging and conceptualizations of samsara and nirvana will be liberated into the nature of reality, becoming a method of attaining the clear light of the dharmadhatu of the great bindu. Moreover, in 'Lamp Illuminating' it says: At night, gather the knowable into the vase, gather the consciousness into the heart, the lamp relies on the center of the life force, the bindu is hidden within the channel, thereby wisdom is clear within. Thus it is said. Thirdly, visualize a clear A (藏文:ཨཱ།) at your heart center, from the A (藏文:ཨཱ།), all outer and inner contents are dissolved into the nature of A (藏文:ཨཱ།) through the process of expansion and contraction, or else, from the bindu at your heart center, a second bindu appears. From the ground, in the manner of ground appearance, it is severed at the brow, about an arrow's length away. From there, light radiates, grasping the five lights, appearing as the light of images, pervading all the realms of the elements. All outer and inner contents, aggregates, realms, and sources dissolve into light and are gathered into the bindu, this is the method of purifying the husk of karmic ripening, the husk of wisdom illusion, or the form body. Again, the light at the brow, likewise, gathers the ground appearance into the ground, or gathers the form body into the dharmakaya, gathering in the manner of the generation stage and completion stage, into the bindu at the heart center, this becomes the method of purifying into the husk of wisdom, the husk of jewels. These are the keys to liberating the lesser elements or outer elements into the inner elements or the essence body of the great elements. In the tantra of the Six Spaces it says: On the lamp of the empty bindu, the yogi places his mind, thus in all the times of the night, the fortunate yogi practices, thereby the appearances will naturally increase. This is the meaning. Fourthly, in the intermediate time, rest in equanimity in the view of the completely pure sky, the three-fold cleansing of inner and outer, I have arrived at the time of death,

Since this clear light has arisen, therefore, taking a firm hold in this state, and thinking that one can be liberated from it, merging the dharmadhatu and awareness, this is the place to expand the view. In the meantime, the dharmadhatu bindu has manifested, and I have reached the stage where the three kayas of the sambhogakaya have manifested in the bardo of self, so thinking that one should take a firm hold in this, one should remember the supreme method of the unchanging golden dagger. Also, sometimes above five hundred yojanas, one's own guru abides, or in the heart of the protectors of the ten directions, awareness is clear as a vajra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), with the arrow of mind, urged by the sound of Hik (Tibetan: ཧིཀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हिक्, Sanskrit Romanization: hik, Chinese literal meaning: Hik), the transference of consciousness is performed. Thus, entering into body and wisdom, and entering into place and abode, these two, with the nature of the Great Perfection, expanding the view, generation and completion united, is the transference of immeasurable compassion. The latter is called the method like shooting an irreversible great arrow. These are also, in the Tantra it says: "Entering into body and wisdom, and entering into place and abode." That is to say, the essence is body, or clear light transferring consciousness like a bamboo tube, and the mudra of wisdom, the signs and examples of the self-manifested sambhogakaya, the gathering of union, the four unions, spontaneous accomplishment, etc., entering into these two with the method of the unchanging golden dagger, is called entering into body and wisdom. Transferring consciousness to the city of the guru and the five teachers of the self-nature embodiment is called entering into place and abode. (Sambhogakaya commentary.) The dharmadhatu (Dharmakaya commentary.) and the place where awareness enters into the dharma and reward, and the way of entering, purifying with city transference and city entry, and the way of applying in activities, etc., are produced from the tantra, one should believe and not fabricate. Third, there are four ways to determine the signs and extent of the appearance of the completion of the ground and path. In the Sound Tantra it says: "From this, it appears as four appearances, with the direct appearance of dharmata, surpassing the words of conceptual clinging, with the increase of experiential appearances, eliminating the appearance of delusion, with the appearance of awareness reaching its limit, surpassing the path appearance of realizing the three kayas, with the appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata, cutting the continuity of the three realms of samsara." Thus. Among them, the first is the direct appearance of dharmata, grasping the ground of meaning, telling the way of presenting appearances, determining it as the nature of direct appearance.
