Thus it is said. In the "Detailed Arrangement," it says, "With the yoga of continuous viewing, view the unchanging meaning of that." Thus it is said. Also, if not separated from the lineage of bindus, then the yoga of continuous meditation is perfected. Thus it is said in both the "Extensive" and the "Detailed Arrangement." Also, in the "Detailed Arrangement," it says, "The nature of the lineage of bindus, and not being separated at all times of the four seasons, is the yoga of continuous conduct." Thus it is said. Also, in the "Extensive," it says, "For self-awareness without cause or condition, the yoga of continuous conduct is perfected." These are according to such meanings. Secondly, when abiding in equanimity with the expanse of awareness, the view and intention of Trekchö spontaneously arise, and abiding without change from the lamp of self-arisen wisdom, like a mountain king, remain still. Viewing the lamp of tears without being moved by external objects, and when the bindu of that expanse dawns, the mind is not disturbed by the waves of conceptual thoughts of rejection, practice, grasping, and being grasped, but is self-cleansed, like the ocean, remain still. Within the great elements, definitely liberate purification from the self-sound, without hope, fear, sinking, excitement, abandonment, abiding, attachment to deterioration, etc., and abiding, gazing like looking at appearances. Closing the eyes for a moment, entrusting the lineage of bindus to A (ཨ,A,无) in the realm of the bindu of the expanse is called awareness remaining still. Therefore, when abiding in the state of the four yogas, guarding through the gate of the four methods is a crucial point. Therefore, in the "Wordless," it says, "The actions of the Buddhas do not move from the four remaining still. The actions of the Buddhas themselves, I have shown that there is nothing beyond that." Thus it is said. The key to the practice of the distinctions of the four lamps is explained slightly in each place, so I will not elaborate here. Thirdly, concealing luminosity in sleep, collecting knowledge in a vase, purifying the elements at dawn. That is, like fierce fire (tummo), and the continuum of holding and taming, and performing the collection sequence of twenty-one A's, holding the definite understanding of all the light blazing on the final A (ཨ,A,无), and holding the mind on the light, and performing the purification and taming of each of the elements as described elsewhere, although somewhat similar, the distinctive intention of the Great Perfection tantras is this: First, at the navel, meditate on the lamp of the bindu of emptiness, possessing five colors, bright and radiant, of the nature of blazing light. The light of that melts all the impure aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and transforms into a rainbow body, completely transparent, the bindu at the navel.
