I adopt a squatting posture. Knees together, pressed against the chest, forming a mudra. Like this, there are two different postures, here the latter is spoken of. That way of looking is, in order to take hold of the sentient beings of the incarnate body, and because one has the eye of wisdom, so looking in that way, without relying on hearing, thinking, and meditating, the meaning of the Dharma nature naturally arises from within. The third is the merit: The body's key points... abiding. That is to say, the two shin bones are aligned, possessing the merit of extracting essence with skillful means and wisdom. Squatting with the knees causes the channels through which consciousness enters to close, and the breath naturally slows down. Crossing the hands causes the union of space and awareness, and exhausts karma and habitual tendencies. Pressing the knees against the chest purifies the aggregates of the body and causes the energy of wisdom to blaze. Stretching the body straight purifies consciousness naturally, and slightly raising the neck has the merit of allowing the breath to naturally relax. In short, the stomach is a mandala of fire, the knees are water, and the palms are fire. Also, the elbows and knees combine water and fire, the palms and armpits are fire. The knees and chest combine fire and water, thinking that the common elements will not be disturbed. The body is straight, so the channels are straight, the channels are straight, so the breath is straight, the breath is straight, so the bindu is straight, the bindu is straight, so the mind is straight, straightness goes on the path of wisdom, and crookedness is the cause of the three realms, it is measuring. Abiding in the wisdom space of self-nature, clear as seeing a bubble's eye, possessing the merit of not changing. As it says in the 'Infinite': Furthermore, through the channels and trulkhor, the five wisdoms abiding in self-nature, will become visible to the bubble's eye. And as it says in the 'Khading': The sitting posture of the incarnate body, purifies the aggregates of the body. The fourth is: This is taught from... to auspiciousness. Firstly, in the wheel of existence, due to the impurity of hatred maturing into the form of a snake, liking the activities of the body, the body's color is red, strength and bones are large, liking the body's cleanliness, not peaceful and easily angered, a being with great coldness, relying on staying in a high place, meditation will arise in the continuum, scattering will quickly subside, and one will certainly become a Buddha. The second is the ultimate merit gained by grasping the key points: The body's key points... to arise. By not moving from these three sitting postures of the body's key points, one becomes a Buddha.

Having passed beyond sorrow into the expanse of the three kayas, thereby quickly obtaining all qualities in one's own continuum, as stated in the Third Post-mortem: If the body wishes to pass beyond sorrow, then learn the manner of abiding in the three kayas. Who has done this in this way? All Buddhas of the three times pass beyond sorrow in the expanse of the kaya. And as stated in the Third Testament: If one does not pass beyond this, then one will pass beyond sorrow in the expanse of the kayas of all Buddhas. So it is. Third, the fault of not focusing is: This body key point will not be accomplished. So it says. If one is separated from these key points, then there is no method to directly see the nature of reality and quickly exhaust the defilements of the aggregates. As stated in the Lamp Illuminating: Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and even Bodhisattvas who are separated from practice, if they do not have confidence in these three key points, they will not see even a particle of dust. So it says. As stated in the Clear Expanse: If one does not focus on the key point of the body, then one will not be able to hold the arising winds, and likewise, heat will not arise in the body, and awareness will not be able to appear directly. So it says. Fourth, therefore, the instruction to focus is: Therefore, between the three seals. Because the qualities of relying on the body key point and the difference between the faults and qualities of not focusing are such, one should always be diligent in the key point. And as stated in the Sudden Enlightenment: The body should not pass away from the manner of abiding in the three kayas, constantly. So it says. It is sealed by the command not to transgress these vows of the body's hand seal. The three seals are as before. Second, regarding the key point of speech, there are two aspects: the actual explanation and its necessity. The first has four parts, as stated in the Sudden Enlightenment: Speech should be learned, should abide, should be recited, and should be stabilized. Thus, the first learning is: The activity of speech... until... expectation, that is, gradually reducing the speaking of words and gradually abandoning them, and finally, by means of increasingly longer periods, abandoning all confused speech. However, one does not abandon recitation and mantra repetition, etc., at times. And if the desire to speak arises, then alone, regarding unrelated or whatever one desires, say hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, so that the speech is cut off by this, and thus learn to be without speech. As stated in the Vast Expanse: First, one should learn in a short time, not abandoning recitation, etc., abandoning all confused speech, words should be reduced daily, and then the time gradually
